We had just arrived in Manchester and dropped in for some quick purchases (just the necessities - beer, wine, chocolate, crisps); I found the range quite good, more variety than I had expected and I ended up buying a few non-essentials like tea and bottled water.

Prices seemed quite good (even when converting to my home currency), the products all looked fresh, the premises were clean and tidy, and the staff were busy restocking.

The checkout staff were excellent - friendly and helpful, would give them 5+ stars.

Great location, quite busy at lunch times and many students around. 4 starts as its quite small thus not having a wide choice of groceries.

Bizarrely does a very good healthy eating section. Was stuck in Manchester for work twice recently and I've taken some stupid weight loss challenge on.

They had a selection of healthy snack pots that hit my macros and calories perfectly for the day without being soul destroyingly bland - I've not seen it in any other Tescos and was a massive plus to this place. Otherwise just another Tescos Express.

Good location, but very busy. Sometimes it is really hard to pass the people waiting on the cashier line.

good place to go get something quick for home or necessities. small shop but still have a variety for necessary items for a household.
