I'm so grateful that Asda is now near me. Thanks to Asda now being near me, it's no longer far away, which was awful. I used to have to cross hills, rivers, battle dangerous animals and pack a lunch to keep me going. I'm not going to claim to be a hero, but it was really tough going. Now my family won't worry about me doing this dangerous journey each month. My wife is no longer sleeping with the postman. Thank you Asda.

overpriced bc of the location, but it’s the only grocery store open at 6am nearby. they also have a very small selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Some great yellow stickers. Everything else is an absolute rip off!

By all means not amazing. Prices are fairly expensive compared to a usual Asda, I was hoping this was going to be a cheaper alternative to the Tesco store nearby but it really isn’t. Along with the fact vouchers from the Asda app don’t work without any communication to the customers until checkout. Coupled with being chased down the street accused of not paying when it was clear we did when they had 2 employees stalking our self scan after we asked about the vouchers.

Not much variety if you are looking for actual food, anti pasti selection is minuscule which nowadays seems rare. Good for emergencies, but so are ambulances and I don’t find myself wanting to get in one of those very often.

I was looking forward to this opening but it’s cheaper to go elsewhere, go the extra minute to the convenience store or the extra couple of minutes to Tesco. Save your pennies.

Probably the least convenient shop I've ever visited. Fresh bread? Eggs? Fruit? Do they have any in stock? Your guess is as good as mine! It's actually incredible how poorly run this place is considering it's an Asda brand.
Essential items are never available, staff either take no interest or WAY too much interest in you and treat it like an after school club. I've walked in and done a small shop with absolutely ZERO members of staff on the floor, the shop was absolutely empty - I could have walked out with everything and not been stopped.
Save your time and energy and just go to Tesco round the corner. Much cheaper, always fully stocked, and staff are lovely there.

Edit: (It gets worse every visit. Now the security guard will harass people whilst they're scanning their shopping trying to sell them carrier bags. Even after repeatedly saying "no thank you" and pointing out the obvious that I already had 2 large bags to put the shopping in he wouldn't stop. No means no. I won't shop here ever again). Overpriced and self serve tills need moving. There are 3 self serve tills, the left one is too close to the wall to put your basket down (do they not measure before installing?). Even when using the other two you'll notice the platform for your basket is too small so you need to balance your basket carefully. Staff are all grumpy. Prices are much higher than anyone else in the area (Tesco, Sainsbury's and Co-op).

*edit* the same security guard as well as constantly getting in my personal space every time I come in now decides to accuse me of stealing and starts laughing at me even though their barcodes dont work because the tills are so inefficient. I go in there all the time which you would think would give some kind of benefit of the doubt but instead I immediately get treated like a criminal. Probably the most insulting experience I’ve ever had in a supermarket, I will never return as long as he works there. Would give 0 stars if I could.

overpriced, horrible tills, intrusive security guard who has no understanding of what boundaries are and they’re always closing 10 mins early

Terrible place to go visit. Never have any essentials in and massively over priced. Will be going back to my local Tesco store from now on.

So disappointed after my initial excitement of this store opening.

Shop is clean as it is brand new but very limited items and so expensive compared to Tesco and Co-op. Hardly any milk left.

£1.30 for a standard carrier bag and you can't use Asda Rewards App here. I left my items and will visit Big Asda when I reach home.

If they don't make changes ASAP, this place will end up closing soon.

I was so looking forward to it's opening but unfortunately their prices on every single item is higher than the Asda website price by atleast 50p. Their prices are competitive to Tesco some items even higher than Tesco
Also they do not have a wide selection of items. Mainly crisps and drinks in large variety. One lindt bar is 2.15 in ocado, 2.75 in tesco and 3 pounds in this Asda store. This should give you an idea on how ridiculously expensive this store is. At tesco you atleast earn club points which you can retrieve. But Nothing here. And the security guard shadows you from the moment you walk in. And for what? They're the ones robbing general public.

Prices are way too expensive. It’s like I’m living in London. Rather go to Tesco around the corner or other convenience stores done the road (co-op on Blackfriars and a shop on chapel street 2 minute walk from ASDA) better and valuable prices with higher stock count. Avoid unless you’re not bothered about wasting money on the same products you can get down the road for less.

Possibly the worst Asda, I’ve ever stepped in. From a store perspective it is very clean, but that’s where anything positive to say ends. For starters, the prices are extortionate, but more importantly, they never have anything in stock!.

How can you never have milk in stock?! And when they do havd milk it’s only the small ones. Go to Tesco round the corner instead

The majority of the staff are absolutely horrendous. So grumpy and they won't bother actually serving customers if there's a queue at the self-checkouts (which is always the case). Terrible
