Tesco Superstore

Thank you for organising such a nice environment for the kids today Santas Grotto was lovely my kids loved it and their presents too ! Thank you to the staff that were amazing welcoming and so nice 👌

After developing a nasty rash on my face I spoke to Shelley the Pharmacist at Tesco in Bury. She was extremely helpful and kind, she advised me what to take and even gave me printed information to help. Good advice and excellent customer service.

Half the population of Bury is below average...... and they shop in Tesco on Friday.

I loaded my cart and headed for the till. Halfwit gentleman before me is at the checkout with his shopping.
"£238" says the lady.
Halfwit man looks at her for fully 30 seconds...... like it's a surprise.....nay....a shock....... that the lady isn't allowing him to have free shopping this week.
Then he starts hunting pockets.... one at a time. After another 30 seconds he produces............ wait for it....... a phone!
He then spends another thirty seconds scrolling through and through and through his phone.

By this time I'm slumped onto the conveyor belt which fortunately was moving at the same speed he was!
He looks up in triumph and waves the phone in the general direction of the card reader.
Nothing.
The lady levers the twonks arm down and uses the hand held to read the credit card
But no......
He was waving his Tesco card.
"£215" says the lady.
He looks down at his phone.... again..... and I calculate if I have time to bob to Costa for a coffee.
He starts scrolling..... again.... and scrolling. Another 30 seconds.
He finds the credit card details and she again lowers his arm to the reader.
........Relief.......
but no.....
"Did it read the coupons?" The halfwit asks.
I'm staring, incredulous and open mouthed at the moron now.

Why, oh why, do people not appreciate that they do have to pay at the till? It's not a surprise. It happens every time ..... I do mean every time....... without fail...... ever.

Large car park. Good variety of Asian food.
Went there for Yo sushi and meal deal.
A pretty good Tesco.

Everything you can ask for under one roof. Very convenient opening hours. 👍👍

Best pharmacy in Bury Very friendly staff was very friendly and very helpfull. Always on point extremely fast service. Thank you I will be coming again. And I will surely recommend.I want to thank all the staff at Bury Tesco as their customer service is outstanding ,always friendly ,helpful and polite and always have a smile . Also, I regularly shop here as its my local store and will continue to shop here because the service is so good.

Late this afternoon two of your staff helped me at the Self Checkout. Though very busy, they were both so friendly, helpful, and patient - an absolute credit to Tesco.

I find all the stsff at this store easy to approach. However I Just wanted to say a special thank to Gareth on the drinks isle. When I approach him for help. He listened and took time to make sure I got what I needed. He was so patient, helpful and polite. What a genuinely friendly, welcoming guy. A huge thank you. Deirdre Watson

Called in just after lunchtime yesterday. Went to collect my self scan, Star Trek phaser thingy. (It's shopping Jim but not as we know it) when it seemed to malfunction.
I didn't even have the time to look for assistance when young Zac appeared. In warp speed he solved whatever the problem was and had me on my way, spending my hard earned in your fine emporium.
All done with a bit of cheery banter too! Take note Tesco; management material there, either that or chief engineer on a starship! Thanks again Zac

It's improved over the years. Huge car park. Cash machines outside the main entrance. Large doors making easy access for disabled. Pharmacy, Shoe place, Foreign Exchange, opticians, phone shop and travel agents to name a few internal shops.

It is good and variety of things with good quality.
But
Now it's prices are going higher and higher.
Because of rise in prices without reason is a big challenge now a days.

Great choice of goods with polite and helpful staff

I have always shopped at Tesco as I really love their food and products.
I like to visit this store in Bury because it's got a wider selection than the express's in Manchester City Centre.

The manager Chris at Bury Tesco is a really good manager and very customer orientated and is often to be found working on the shop floor. He is very approachable and he will take time to listen to his customers. Likewise his staff are just the same. Overall it is a very good shopping experience. Well done Tesco on this site. You deserve everyone of those five stars.

I have just been into this store and was served by Summer who is a credit to your company ! She was kind, polite, engaging ( asked me how my day was) and was cheerful and bright . She needs to be recognised for this and given some well deserved feedback . John .

My go to Tesco store. The whole store is always clean and tidy. Everything always clean and in the right place. Management and staff extremely helpful and kind. Olivia the manager always brightens up my shopping trips as she is so lovely. 10/10 store and would choose it every time over any other supermarket!!!

Regular shopper in Tesco, Bury. Aways impressed by the range of food & goods available. The store manager (Chris)? does a very good job, and can very often be seen on the shop floor, and is very approachable.
The staff on the shopfloor and checkouts are always very helpful and friendly.

My 5 stars at Tesco Woodfields are not for the store but for Ryan working on the hot chicken counter !
What a warm, friendly & pleasant young man !!
A few wks ago I encountered a rather rude female Asst there who was of no help to me at all in locating a product. Her answer was " I don't know I don't work on this dept" & off she went.
I then asked Ryan who immediately helped me and restored my faith in Customer Service at the store. He was polite, professional and a credit to Tesco.
Thank you Ryan, it was a shame that day when I found your Manager and ' sung your praises' to him that it wasn't recognised.
Hopefully following my visit a couple of days ago that has now been rectified ☺

Great shopping and a cheeky Costa. Nothing better to make a shopping trip that little bit better.
