Labels

I've brought a few things from labels, the owner has always been very friendly and chatty if I've brought things or just browsing. The clothes and accessories are always good quality

Iam surprised to read review the below, as a black woman I've found the lady to be very helpful, polite, pleasant & always had a good experience, weather purchasing or not.

The shop is called 'Joy at labels'- oh the irony!

**Avoid this shop if possible!**

Rude, unpleasant woman running this shop.

I purchased a pair of summer trousers, wore them once- they split.
I went to return them with receipt, the manager insisted that there have never been returns on this item before.
She refused a refund and could only give me a credit note or sew them.

I returned a week later with the credit note. Chose my item. She insisted I try them on as she would not offer me a exchange next time. She kept saying this with a suggestion that this was my fault.

Very unpleasant experience.

I am surprised this shop is still open.

I wish there was a 0 star option!

I would give 0 for this shop if i could. The clothing are quite nice but when u get in the shop the look you get from lady of the store makes u so uncomfortable.. The first time i went she didn't even bother looking at me while answering and the second time she did the same thing so i thought it might be because of her age as she was an elderly but then suddenly two white ladies came in and she got all the energy of the world and started chatting with them. Really disappointed if u really need label store check the one in barkingside run by a white lady as well but much much more friendly.
