I've been buying my electrical goods from JDR Thomas in Newcastle Emlyn for the last 30 years, and always found the service to be first class. My cooker door broke just before Christmas so I phoned Mr Thomas. The cooker I had chosen from the Euronics website wasn't in stock but Mr Thomas said it would be in on the 30th. I phoned him after Christmas to confirm that I wanted it, and that very evening he came, hauled it up a long flight of uneven stone steps to our flat, took out the old cooker and installed the new one all within about 1/2 hour. No fuss, no drama, no extra charge for installation (Currys would have charged £90). Great service which is very much appreciated.

I bought washing machines and driers from JDR Thomas and they were delivered the next day. Friendly helpful and efficient.

I liked this place as it had good selection of items. A variety of electronics, although it was very difficult to pinpoint exactly what I needed without being told about a different item. But apart from that, reasonable priced items and friendly staff.

Went in to purchase a washing machine and a tumble drier. Recieved a poor welcome upon arrival, when asking about one machine they would try to sell me another.
Picked two machines, a few days and delivery arrived with them, the wrong washing machine. Machine returned and another brought the next day. Once again, the wrong washing machine. 4 weeks on and another washing machine has been delivered, and guess what, it's the wrong one. Not going to bother trying again, try to support local. Next time will go to currys.
