The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. On the top floor there is a clearance corner, in which I while away much of my time! This is my preferred Stockport bookshop and if I only have time to pop into one store in Merseyway, this is usually the one I'd go for.

A decent selection of board games, although not quite as good as Waterstones in this respect. Could possibly do with making the store a little cosier, giving it some atmosphere?

I enjoy visiting W H SMITH in Stockport the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble . I you have a query they will find out or come over to the section you are asking about. I buy all my magazine's and newspapers when I am in Stockport. I look forward to the store being there for many more years.

Excellent shop to pick up the latest books out or a magazine. They also do really good deals on books and half price sales on stationery.
