Co-op Food - Muswell Hill

Absolutely fantastic to have such a clean hygienic well stocked store. Not only is the main shop clear and clean but I was shown behind the scenes where everything was as it should be. Clean, organised, disciplined staff wearing correct health and safety attire. The attitude of the staff are to be commended. Very friendly and helpful 👌 Covid measures are in place with disinfectant and a wipe down station situated as you walk in. Hand baskets and trolley baskets both available. Great selection of good fresh produce and it's quite a breath of fresh air to Priory Road. Well done Co-op you received a 5 star 🌟 hygiene certificate yesterday 30th Oct 21. Moreover well done the manager and staff 👏 for taking pride in their roles which ultimately makes the customer feel confident to shop there.
BUT! Tell me why in so many months of opening why just as many burglaries?
ALWAYS when the ad-hoc security are not on duty? Why ALWAYS the tobacco counter behind security screens and a roll lock shutter?
One MUST question whether it's an inside job or simply pure coincidence which I never believe in.
Asked a Duty Manager recently who claimed not his problem! Well one day when someone points a firearm or knife at him then it WILL become his problem!
Not acceptable by any stretch of the imagination.

This Co-0p opened today. I like this supermarket because it feels fresh and clean. There are about five or six aisles, all well spaced and laid out. The overall selection is such that you could do your full weekly shopping here, but more like getting enough for a quick meal or just odd items. I liked the choice of wine and bakery. They also have hot bites and quick meal choices. Of course cleaning materials and toiletries.

I can see from the pictures you have a lot on store. I would love to visit you guys one day. I bet I will not be surprised to see how clean and well done and job well presented it is. Great job guys

co-op store in my area opened yesterday and my first experience was amazing, the store looks so clean and very organised, the staff were very friendly and i was lucky i had 10 pounds voucher so overall i'm so satisfied and glad to have it in my neighbourhood and i wish them all the best.

The shop window says open until 11pm, yet the shop is never open after 10pm. Please update this wrong information!

Short on fruit and veg last time i visited , though maybe due to delivery /brexit issues

The level of rudeness of the staff here is unparalleled, and is only eclipsed by the weakness of their plastic bags. I bought a bottle of wine this evening, and on stepping across the threshold onto the pavement the bag gave way because of the incredibly heavy single wine bottle. The staff refused to replace the bottle despite their bags clearly being unfit for purpose because I had 'gone outside'. No apology or acceptance of responsibility from the poorly trained staff. A very convenient store, but what cavemen they employ!

I was pleased when the store opened as it promised early opening and late closing. However, it soon became clear that the staff picked their own hours and they’d often still be closed at 07:00 despite advertising an 06:00 opening time and would have the shutters down and lights off by 22:00 despite supposedly being open until 23:00.

The staff themselves are incredibly rude, barging past people and shouting (often accompanied by language most people don’t want to hear) across the store to each other.

The last straw was when the security guard stood behind me whilst I was paying and, as I went to leave, deliberately shoulder checked me.

COOP HQ were not particularly engaged but did send me the CCTV of the incident; store management have not so much as contacted me.

Needless to say, we now avoid the store.

I almost never leave negative feedback, but this is a case that needs to be made. This place offers limited choice for products, bad prices, appalling customer service and discriminatory blanket policy for exclusion of all students. It really beggars belief how on earth this place is managing to survive. Avoid at all cost.

I was very pleased to see the shop opened and often went there. It looked well stocked, clean and spacious. Sadly, over the weeks and as the pandemic worsened, it has become blatantly obvious that not a single member of staff wears a protective mask which is the current required. This is a regular occurrence and seems to be tolerated by the management. To me, this is a blunt disrespect of wellbeing of others. I would say that the shop has lost other customers too for this reason.
