Records are fashionable and cool, I suppose.

I grew up when they were just away to listen to music.

I found the maintenance of vinyl a pain, so when Mps3 and streaming came about, I was relieved to be done with needles and turn tables.

This shop is stuffed to the gills with records. If its your thing, then you will love browsing through their collections.

The price is a little bit rich for my blood for second-hand goods, but if your new wave cool into retro, then it's going to be your bag.

Music & Video Exchange, both shops, are probably THE places to go if you’re looking for cassette tapes. This shop has a 50p section, as well as some nice classics in the basment, moderately priced. Don’t miss out on it!

Absolutely love the Greenwich branch. Always pick up fantastic bargains and always have great selection of records to dig through. And can’t forget Notting Hill Gate. Been in that shop since the early 80s. Long live Record & Tape Exchange!

Have visited music and video exchange for many years, picked up many great vinyl records for my collection during that time.

Great little record shop. You can always find hidden gems in there. Very conservative grading, I have bought stuff labeled as good and it's played as VG. Also packed full of many different genres and has a fair bit of more obscure stuff.

Great little shop, with a literal bargain basement full of vinyl and CDs. A great way to browse away an hour without even realising! Good prices too.

Love this shop, such a wide choice of music genres as well as films. Fantastic price too. I sold lots of DVDs and CDs here then bought a load of new ones with the voucher I opted for instead of cash. They have a wide collection of records too, even antique ones. I highly recommend this shop.

Great place to go and buy CDs and DVDs (surprisingly few places left now)! Friendly staff, good selection on offer at very good prices with stock that's ever changing; I'm in all the time and can definitely recommend!

My local record shop, I go once a week. Rest assured you will always find that record you were looking for. Perfectly aligned with my 60/70/80 rock and metal taste.

This will be my favourite shop over Rough Trade and Phonica simply because it has all the records on stock that I loved so much in the 90s and 00s. Highly recommended!

After years of hunting... Finally a shop with classic acid and the knowledge to go with it.

Came out with exactly what I have been looking for . Double album acid compilation and a rare Japanese synth record...

Got a sense that all the staff are expert in their own genres.
Exceptionally good service.

Get some soviet jazz funk in for my return. I shall be back one day, with more money !

It's actually worth your while booking a night or two in a Greenwich hotel. Great area, but you will probably spend a lot of your time in this record shop as we did.

CDs are very cheap downstairs. Got mine for only 2 quid. Will go to again

Been buying a lot of cd s out of here for years one of my favourite music shops in & around Greenwich.

Great selection of records/vinyls, CDs and DVDs. Some second hand and new pieces. I was able to find some obscure pieces here as they have a large amount of records in various genres. Great prices too for older pieces! Staff were helpful aswell and knew if they had pieces for some artists.

Bargain Basement filled with Vinyl and CDs, there's also a few bargain price racks tucked away upstairs next to the staircase. You can spend at least a hour digging through racks and crates here.
