SPAR - Wayside Stores

Just wanted to share our experience at this store (I wish I could remember the staffs name) but the man from Liverpool who works there was so helpful and really took care of us! We really struggle from hayfever and he advised us about the local honey when we went in for tablets - unfortunately the SPAR didn’t have any in at that time but we still left the shop with a cup full of his own honey. It’s amazing customer service and he really deserves this review! More people need to be like him

First shop we called into on our visit to Anglesey. We we're lost and were given great directions by a very helpful friendly man. A good start to our holiday.

Lots of selection, with a good mixture of value & luxury.

Must have been stocking the shelves when we got there (5pm on a Friday) because there wasn’t a clear path on any aisle - there also weren’t any staff stocking the shelves so not too sure why there was such a hazard. Anyone with a pram would not have been able to move around the shop.
Car park outside but no lines so people do just park anywhere.
Had a good selection of essentials, local eggs, fresh bread.

One of those shops you NEED on holiday.Late closure and plenty of stock.

Discriminating and a nasty owner.
I was going to spend some money there but he decided to tell me to get outside as I'm exempt and he said he would serve me on his terms, meaning remotely meaning being treated diffferently to those wearing muzzles, who were allowed in.
Yes,' this is discrimination.
I will now be making a start about sueing this person for discrimination.
Don't go here, instead go to the one stop in Rhosneigr, they were great.
If this persons business is doing so well, then he does not nedd your business.

Shop here if you don't mind being verbally abused by the owner in his white van if he doesn't get to park in his spot.

The guy took offence that I didn't move quick enough, getting out of his van to try challenge me - after intimidating my pregnant partner while I was in the shop.

Keep way!! Shop somewhere else

Extremely rude people running this shop.
Definitely won’t shop there again.
The guy stood there berated about masks whilst wearing the most dirty scummy old mask on his face.
Unbelievable!!

Discrimination against those with medical exemptions from wearing a mask. Absolutely disgraceful and shout be shut down. People like this are the reason our right are being stolen from us. Boycott!!
