Majestic Wine

Apparently the busiest Majestic in the UK!? Great wine selection - obviously - but it’s the friendliness of the staff and their passion for wine that sets it aside. Store Manager, Henry, and his team clearly love their jobs and talking to customers - helping them make great choices.

Back in April 2020 they were in home delivery only mode, due to the pandemic - but still great service as they called to confirm and discuss your order.

My current favourite is a previous recommendation of theirs - a stunning Primotivo! Their ‘own brand’ range - Definition - is also very good; particularly the Carménère and Zinfandel. Also great for beers, ciders and mixers too.

Excellent service for our wedding. From start to finish and very friendly, professional and customer centric service. Spoke with various individuals to help plan our wedding wine delivery, having to navigate postponements, changes in stock and even honouring historic prices without being requested to.

Phenomenal service. I am no wine expert but I knew which blends and regions I wanted to try. Henry walked me around the store recommending several wines and explaining what he liked about them - he explained what to look out for in terms of flavours and aromas and gave me a few to taste. He could not have been more helpful. He spent ages with me, didn’t seem to be in any rush and didn’t make me feel in any way uncomfortable by my lack of wine knowledge. Very nice manner and a pleasure to buy my wine from here!

The team are beyond reproach! Had an issue with an online order. The Manager at St Alban's was superb at sorting it out. Service could not have been any better. He is a credit to Majestic.

Great shop. Really enjoy coming here. The staff are all super friendly and know me by name now...i really enjoy being called Mr.B!

The knowledge these guys have is truly incredible. This knowledge helped select some great wines. In fact we are having monthly visits. 2 years on and still visiting but where are the loyalty promotions
