Asda Wakefield Superstore

Made an online click and collect order delivered to this store,online had messed the delivery up. Long story short David, vicky and Jo absolutely amazing vicky after alot of work sorted the order and phoned me straight away, these saved my day due to sum of the order being work uniform and a present, could not thank these three enough absolutely fantastic thank you for that hard work.

I love this asda although we live in arsdley the produce is always neat znd tidy and well merchandised there is àlways help at hand always there polite and happy when there working especially the lady on lotto she's lovely we always have a few words 😀

Supermarket with products you need. Good reduced section at certain times of the day when shopping on a budget.

Not the store, but the car wash service! Amazing work, friendly staff and i could not thank them more for helping me with my car. They know what they’re doing. I would recommend this car wash to anyone. :)

We have just had a delivery here in WF1 booked between 9 & 10 am Fri on 27 Jan 2023 .Just wanted to say thank you to Moses our delivery driver so patient, friendly and helpful all our grocery's delivered in good condition and all there with 2 subs we were very happy with .It's so nice to be able to praise a young man who's working so hard .I would also like to thank our picker unfortunately we don't get to know their name.

Huge store, great variety of goods.

Just had very good assistance from a lovely guy called Leslie working at Wakefield. Couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Do you remember the days of people being "happy to help" and with smiles on their faces? Well his WAS Leslie. A great advert for your shop. You should treasure him!

My husband was leaving asda last night about 7.30 when the handle on his bag snapped and a bottle of wine fell out and smashed staff as always where amazing made sure he was ok cleaned it up replaced the wine and as he described a lovely manager even gave him complimentary mince pies. Thank you to all that helped it was very much appreciated

Asda wakefield as plenty of parking, you can fill up on shopping , coffee food and petrol/diesel.. But since lock down and all major supermarkets doing " price comparison " I dont believe it's any better or worse than other leading supermarkets...comes down to personal choice.. I'm not knocking asda but I'm also not praising them above any other supermarket....

Great range of fruit and vegetables at keen prices.
Huge selection of wines across a wide price range.

I visited your store on Sunday before xmas and being disabled found the store to be so busy I couldn't use a disability scooter so decided to go slowly around using my walking stick, however, I felt quite poorly after struggling against the crowds.The queue for the checkouts were so long, I asked a member of staff if you had a checkout for disabled people who were unable to stand in a queue for long periods of time. She obviously saw I wasn't well and promptly took my friend to checkout at the customer service desk. Another member of staff got me to a chair and provided me with a glass of water whilst I used my inhaler then got me a wheel chair back to my car. I would so like to thank your staff for their help and support and kindness, unfortunately I didn't get their names.

This supermarket has been one of the best in the area during lockdown. They have gladly accepted cash or credit card. They have markings on the floor for direction to go in and the aisles are wide enough to help with social distancing. The queues to enter in the earlier days of lockdown have been orderly and well organised. It didn't take long to get into the supermarket.
Thank you to all staff for keeping a stressful time calm and accommodating.

It is a fantastic store the stores layout inside is so good. The food the clothes in fact everything we buy is of a great standard. The staff are very helpful and can have a laugh with some of them. Keep it going Asda your the best.

What can I say.. Huge supermarket with ample free parking, on site cafe, chemist, travel agent, optician and I believe a cobbler too, large George clothing section and all the groceries and homewares your ever gonna need plus a 24 hour petrol station that is card only. Recommended.

Big store helpful staff

Never had a problem to all of the people going on about no social distancing it is not the shop that is at fault the true question is should you be that be there in the 1st place there was restrictions in place when it was needed to be as I had to que to get in many times for essential shopping !!

I am writing this review solely based on my wonderful experience with the cashier - she was so friendly, helpful and kind - it was between 19:00 and 19:30 and this lady told me she was working until 11:30 - she had burgundy coloured hair - in these COVID times it is wonderful when frontline staff can be so cheerful whilst helping us get supplies for our families - I hope you read this because you are one beautiful person - top marks ASDA your staff are awesome
