Staff here are always so helpful in the shop that sells such a huge range of items. I even received help to move a heavy bag of compost into my car. It's a great shop!

I love this store. We call it the Everything Everything shop, if you can think of it they stock it - garden, hardware, decoration, Gas bottles etc. Often works out cheaper than going to big retailers as they sell things individually so you don’t have to buy packs of 20 etc.

A true Aladdin’s Cave! Amazing customer service , very friendly and helpful staff. If they don’t have an item in stock, it can be ordered and in store within 1-2 days. I’ve had no problems refunding/exchanging items if they haven’t been suitable. A fantastic family run business, and you won’t find better prices anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Very good hardware shop with fair prices. As well as this the shop keeper is very friendly, genuine and helpful. The shop keeper went the extra mile to return my wallet to me personally which I had dropped in his shop. He saved me a lot of money, time and effort. Would defo recommend this shop for your hardware needs.

A& F hardware store. This place has every thing i ever need theyve never let me down yet. I could list so many Diy jobs that ive completed over time but i simply suggest you pop round yourself or give them a ring to check they have any tools or parts you may need they wont let you down. The shop staff are always friendly and willing to help with any advice or what tools you may need to get a job done. The prices are really fair too. And the things you buy here are really decent quality. Trust me i dont get paid for writing these reviews, i just give credit where credit is due..You can even buy decorating tools paint brushes and paint, hammers, drills, screws, screwdrivers,spanners, nuts and bolts all sizes. Padlocks in all sizes, replacement doorlocks, Mortice locks, torches, batteries, CLamps, cleaning materials, replacement Latches, just to mention a few. And by the way, (i dont work there). Just pay them a visit youll see what i mean..

I just love this shop. Always so helpful with advice, and they will find you just what you need to get a job done. They don't mind selling items in small quantities, and are polite, friendly and non-patronising. Great place.

I love the family that run this shop so much! So helpful, reasonable prices, if they don't stock it, they can always obtain it asap and they are kind and curteous to all their customers, from the Professional trader to seasoned DIYer to fluffy-headed novice like me. And they NEVER make a question seem too silly. Locals call it "Aladdin's cave" because it is a Hardware gem 10/10 every time.

I've used these guys for a few months now. I've gone in with some pretty obscure requests and they've always had what I need at a great price too. No need to rush to Trafford Park. I wish my workshop was as organised. I look for materials and consumables in my space and always find something I needed for a job 1, 2 sometimes 6 months earlier. They know what you need and know exactly where it is. My hat is firmly tipped in in your direction A&F Hardware. Keep up the great work. A very confident recommendation from me.

I really like this shop I recently moved in to my new house round the corner and needed bits n bobs and found this shop to be really effective staff are helpful and approachable awesome

Superb little oasis of everything you need for your DIY and home improvements. Huge range of nails, screws, glues, wood, coals, chains, tapes, washers, in fact just about anything you need - they have it at a reasonable price. It’s local too so no need to go to B&Q when you have a shop like this here.

One of those shops that remind you of days gone by.

Amazing customer service, staff remember your face and listen and suggest products to help fix your project or need. It's stocked to the brim just like the 'fork handles' shop in the Two Ronnie's.

Most things you will need are in stock, and those that are not can be ordered in within 24-48hours. You can even what's app the owner a picture and question of what you want and he will tell you if it's in stock or order it in for you.

You can buy a single washer or a solitary screw if needed and you are buying from a local trader not the big soulless orange DIY chain.

These guys have everything. I was looking for a really specific screw for an old pair of scissors and they had the exact one!

Fantastic family run D.I.Y. & General Hardware Store. If it isn't already in stock or they can't order it for you, it probably doesn't exist!
I once searched all the camera shops I could think of in town, for a particular type of battery, only to be told by all the 'Specialists' that the battery I was after was no longer in production and that I should replace my old camera. I called into A&F Hardware and asked on the off-chance if they had it. They had several of them in a box behind the counter. I now go here First!
I highly recommend A&F Hardware as the go-to-shop for all your D.I.Y. and virtually all other general hardware needs.
