Halfords - Blackwood

Very efficient service, Ollie the stores operative/car fitter changed my car battery without fuss, was polite friendly. Watching him change the battery, I definitely could not have done it myself. He worked on time.
No problems.

Today I returned a faulty battery under its guarantee(4 year) about 2 years in, The battery would not take charge at home, the battery was tested and I was told that due to bad mantainernece the guarantee was void ! ,But its it's a maintenance free battery isn't it ? . Yes but with some extra T+C I was not told about ,or noted anywhere on the battery. The manager could see my point. We worked out that a different type of battery may be better for my needs, I was happy to pay the difference in cost. New battery with new 5 year guarantee. All is good in my opinion. Thanks Halford's and a big thanks to are local branch in Blackwood.

Popped in as I headlight needed changing, spoke to Cameron and can I just say what an absolutely lovely guy, absolute asset to the company. I hope staff have a little bonus or recognition for receiving reviews because honestly he was amazing!!! Thank you ever so much

I'm someone who can repair my bike I needed new brake pads cycled to halfords in blackwood and like the time before it was no problem for the staff very courteous and professional did my repair fixed my bike and got me on my journey can't thank them enough

Bulb went on my car so I went straight to Halfords and was seen to very fast brilliant service the young lad who changed the bulb was sound as well 👍

Visited Halfords Blackwood today to purchase 2 sleeping bags and some Autoglym products. I was greeted by Ricky who asked how he could help me. He was very friendly, courteous and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and explained the different options. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service. The store is very well laid out and I noticed other members of staff helping other customers in a friendly helpful manner. Keep up the good work. Very happy customer.

I needed a rear brake bulb. The young man who served me found exactly what I needed. He(Franc) fitted both rear brake lights with no problem . He also checked the oil and water for me. I appreciated this as I live on a hill so cannot get an accurate reading. He was polite addressing me with respect. This is important to me. Thank you.

Called into Blackwood retail outlet, being disabled which is not visible. I explained that my car battery had failed , needed a power pack to start the car needed to get my beloved wife to an appointment.

FRANCESCO came to my aid found me what I wanted even put it on charge for me and I managed to get to the appointment.

Halfords at Blackwood is great Im very disappointed that the click and collect service or the option to buy stuff and collect it from Blackwood takes longer than any other store. Click & Collect can take several hours to next day even when the items are on the shelf
ive mentioned this to the guys in the store and ive showed them on my phone where the items are in my basket and its showing various stores and blackwood is longer by several hours. today i bought a battery charger NOCO genius 10 online its showing next day collection when i called the store he said ive got some here just come to the store.
happy but overall very disappointed, and i always try and support my local area first.

Popped in this morning for a browse on roof boxes and brackets but we weren't too sure about the details of what we needed. Ricky had a really good heads up approach and asked if we needed any help, was really helpful and gave us some really good advice. He wasn't pushy about us buying the products there but gave us a lot of options if we wanted to order any with him. The rest of the staff were really friendly, lots smiles and hello's. We were really impressed by the customer service and will be back to shop here in the future!
