Bought a pair of climbing shoes and had to exchange them for a smaller size after trying them on again at home. The staff were very helpful in putting another pair to one side for me, and made the exchange an easy process

You tend to have to spend £5 on a Member's card, but you soon recoup this on savings, probably on your first visit - A well stocked Store, so plenty of choice.

John was very helpful in helping me pick a new pair of walking boots. Very informative. The store has shrunk in size from my last visit before covid but still well stocked and cheaper prices with membership.

Staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable, which means I usually find what I was looking for. New waterproof boots today.

You know when you go into a big store and there are loads of choices but it's quite overwhelming and you ask a staff member for help and they say " I don't know, I just work here" !!! Well, thankfully that wasn't the case here. Harry was very helpful with loads of advice and very knowledgeable. I tried a few different types of boots and went up and down the small bridge! 🙃 I also bought some waterproof trousers which were a great fit for my long legs.
Easy to park and has a great big store with plenty to keep me interested. All the staff are friendly and will be coming back for more bargains.

Absolutely great outdoors shop to go to, they have a massive variety of products and their staff are most helpful. They have tents all setup and ready to be viewed in summer months. They have everything camping you could possibly need and if they do not have what you need, they will be very helpful in pointing you in the direction of where you can find it. Very nice place.

Great selection here, for whatever your outdoor activity. I purchased a lightweight camping mat a week of so ago. After getting home and looking again, I could not find an R value for it anywhere so took it back today for a full refund. A very helpful member of staff helped me select a suitable replacement.

Came to go outdoors for some items for a school trip, and the lady Clare was so polite and helpful. I mentioned the fact we were on a tight budget since it is an expensive trip and whilst I was trying on my shoes she came over to us and said 'it's all behind the counter and paid for' (these were the items she helped me find before). She was so sweet and I'm so appreciative for her and want to remind her how amazing she really is. It made me really emotional and so happy it made my day and lit my heart up xx ☺☺☺

Staff helpful, large range of camping and outdoor products, and once you buy a discount card ( £5 ) actually not bad value. I purchased a few bulky items without thinking of a trolley and the staff couldn’t be more helpful with getting them to my car. Well done 👍

I didn't buy anything today (because the item I wanted was sold out), but I was really impressed by one member of staff. I didn't get his name unfortunately, but he had a distinctive beard and moustache. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and great with the kids (we were looking at inflatable boats and bikes).

Went to Go Outdoors in Shrewsbury. Loads of parking....helpfull staff went the extra mile looked threw all the boxs in the store room till she found the walking boot I wanted in my size.....quick check out....some good stuff in the sales.....I will be back.

Great experience at the Shrewsbury store. Brilliant staff there. Helped by a chap called Jamie who was exceptionally helpful. Bought a whole load of new climbing gear and will go back for my next outdoors purchases.

Staff were extremely helpful. Not everything they had on their website was in stock but the vast majority was.

The people on tills and milling around were very useful and more than happy to help with the queries I had.

I was able to try mats tents and seating freely. Good selections all round. Ace shop.

We joined the masses today and bought a tent. We checked around, Go Outdoors had the best selection and many tents erected outside to browse. Max was great, good advice and help and we were pleased with our purchase. Now all we need is for the weather to be kind.
