Good choice of model railway items. David who runs the shop is a kind and very helpful person with a good sense of humour. You can find really good bargains there and some model items cheaper than in online shops. You can also buy there postcards, sweets and other item. This is a great place to visit.

What a wonderful old fashioned model shop, Mr Bentham a lovely helpful gentleman with a great sense of humour.

Paid this shop a visit this week. Didn't know it was even here. The chap that runs the model train part of the store is very helpful nothing to much trouble for him. Stocks a wide variety of bits and pieces New and second hand . Good prices too. Also in the same shop is a sweet shop. Been in the same ownership for 50 years so I was told. So for model trains 00 or N gauge give Benhams a visit.

Having found this model railway shop on line and only living 30mins away, I thought I might give it a try. This was my first visit and it definitely won't be the last, inside was absolutely outstanding the model railway stock was enormous, and Dave the owner one of the most helpful and jovial people I have ever met, my friend and I were made so welcome we didn't want to leave, dave your an absolute diamond has a person, and an absolute credit to the village, and our hobby as model railway enthusiasts see you soon buddy

Mr Benham runs a great business! Lovely little gem of a shop I discovered, family-run business offering good quality drinks and snacks at bargain prices!

First class model shop. If he has not got he will get it. At a reasonable price.!

Not a huge shop. They do have a lot of stock for the tiny size though. Anything they don't have, they can order in. Have had great advice there and spent far too much.

The first time I visited Benhams of Edwinstowe I only bought a bar of chocolate but now Im hooked on model railways and having retired what more can say I find Benhams to be in my opinion one best local model shops in my area .
