B&Q Nottingham - Riverside

This is a large B and Q store situated inside the Riverside retail park.
There are loads of parking at this B and Q, which is handy if, like me, you often have to tow a large plant trailer.
The store itself has everything you would expect from a large B and Q.
I often use the company for paints as they have a huge selection and the ability to mix your own colours.
I often find b and q can be a little pricer than other builders merchants, but that can be the price of convenience.

Walk-in kitchens is so lovely and give the real time experience. Price is reasonable for quality provided. Perfect place for builders and people DIY. All what the home needs under one big roof.

I visited the store on Wednesday 20th December, late morning time. I needed some help finding what I needed. I saw a member of staff that looked very busy, in the middle of the hardware isle. She acknowledged me straight away as she could see I was lost. I want to say a massive thank you to Lynnette, as her customer service was impeccable and she went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to complete my shopping trip.
As a new beginner to DIY, this positive experience will definitely make me return to B&Q Riverside!

Thankyou to the security man who helped me spend 20mins looking for my car keys and the lady on the self checkout tills who watched over my plants. You were both lovely and made me feel a lot less embarrassed lol.

I came to this store yesterday and may I just say how impressed I was with David who help me with choosing paint for my home and gave me some brilliant advice so I'm hoping he's in the store the next time i come again so a big thank you David

Good selection of lights, very helpful staff, explaining to me the comparable brightness of the LED bulbs to watts. Went back today after my initial visit last Saturday to look and today to buy a light fitting, was very ably guided by Eddie and bought just what I wanted .

Bought an oven, hob and extractor. Served by Lisa at Riverside, who was very informative on the products and very helpful, what a lovely girl.

Best place to find all the house all stuff like plants, garden stuff, seeds, paints, wallpaper , decors, electrical stuff and all DIY stuff.

We bought only 2 witches here. Staff are very friendly and helpful to found. A very large and managed warehouse. Almost all you needed is there and never had bad experience.

Visited the store on the weekend and we were spoilt for choice with the range of products available. Highly recommend for all your DIY needs!

I rarely find people who are great at their job and also find time to provide great customer service consistently and on numerous occasions.
Jenny is a rare gem and I can't recommend her enough.
I always enjoy shopping here.

I can not put into words how helpful the staff here have been. I ordered a new kitchen with all appliances. All were great quality and perfectly jiggled around to fit during our design sessions. It took 3 sessions to get it perfect and i bought it. There were problems with the delivery day and our fitters availability. So they sorted another delivery option for us. Then our fitter...... Lets just say we were left hanging. Due to covid they could not physically come and help us however they were always on the end of the phone and email to help us. We ended up fitting it ourselves! They helped, advised, taught and supported us remotely through every day of our learning curve. The helpful, supportive attitude of the staff was amazing. We never felt like a burden even after the 100th call!! Their patience, understanding of our nightmare situation was truly from the heart. So I 100% recommend B & Q!!! My only other recommendation is to make sure you have a good, qualified, reliable fitter, as kitchen fitting is hard work! Thankyou to all at B & Q Riverside that helped us through all the drama. You are absolute stars

Went to get fence posts and brackets, also bought two new planters and an ornamental dog (the checkout operator thought the dog was real, was really funny she laughed as much as I did)
Highly recommended.

Was looking at the color changing light 💡 bulb's which i have never seen before including a bluetooth one aswell

The staff know where every little thing is in this huge place. It's very easy to navigate and they always have everything l need for my latest DIY project. Prices are very reasonable too.
There is plenty of parking space, everyone is friendly. There're plenty of staff so that question are a minimal.
