The store is well set out and easy to manoeuvre around (which is ideal in the current Covid-19 situation where you want to social distance at all times - there's also hand sanitiser on entering/leaving the shop).

The staff are polite and helpful. Being a close knit community, they get to know you and your family quickly (which I find reassuring).

It's a lovely village shop (which caters for most things) at reasonable prices.

I found their own brand of bleach particularly good value for money - it is straight on as you go through the door then left almost opposite the drink bottles I think.

The area is very old and interesting shops are interesting the whole place is olddy world and just brill it's on my list to visit for a stayover and not just passing through.
