Shop is fine for my needs. But the opening hours listed here are not accurate. I was there at 6.30am yesterday and it was closed. A regular waiting outside said this was common and could open anytime between 6.30 and 7.30am.

Not very good atmosphere.

I really really wish I could give 0 stars. The owner of this store is incredibly rude and really doesn't care about customers, and most of his staff are just as bad (if not worse). Every time I go in this shop there are boxes everywhere blocking most of the aisle - whilst I appreciate they need to restock, customers with pushchairs or wheelchairs do need access. When I pointed this out to a female member of staff, she began aggressively telling me they has to restock etc and simply wouldn't listen to fact I could not get through the aisle. They did offer to help me shop, but how can I do that if I can't get down the aisles?!?! She then began to shout at me on the shop floor before pulling my basket from my hand and then began swearing at me in front of everyone including my 3 year old. Not a single member of staff came to ask if I was okay despite having a full panic attack (caused by having been recently diagnosed with epilepsy and having many seizures in public with my son). I appreciate they didn't know this, but you should not treat ANY customer in this way. The woman was stood on the phone talking to her mother and refused to give me her name to make a complaint. I then asked the chap on the till for her name and the owners name, who then decided he suddenly couldn't speak and also would not help me, despite regularly serving me and usually being very friendly. I cannot believe the appauling standards of customer service in this store.

I also find it highly amusing the owners have replied to nearly all the other reviews left, but still not mine. I wonder why hey??? Rude!!!

During Covid, I use my own shopping bag, so as not to touch the potentially filthy baskets at stores.
I do not fear Covid, it’s just a more hygienic way of keeping hands clean during a pandemic.
Imagine my surprise, when, whilst paying at the checkout in this Spar in Barton, Oxford, I get accosted by an aggressive woman, screaming that HER RULES are that I use a basket, and NOT my own bag!!
I assume she is the manager here.
So, I explain that MY rules are that I utilise my own bag for reasons mentioned, and have had absolutely no problem at Tesco, M&S, Waitrose, and other stores, even Harrods!
She then pushes the point about people stealing!
So, I point out there are cameras everywhere, and here I am at the checkout, paying for the goods!
She then shouts that I should NOT COME BACK to her store EVER again!!
While paying, I explain that I do not intend to come back, and that I will tell all my friends, both verbally and online to a wider audience, about her friendly customer-focused behaviour!
It makes me wonder: what is the matter with idiots like this!
They will only undermine their own business by this kind of aggressive rude behaviour.
Therefore, I use, and recommend, an alternative store to this one, and suggest you might do the same!
Good riddance to this angry harridan!

Expensive and not accurate on the Google maps I went to the shop, so waited 20 minutes then I decided to go back home (my home is near) I came back at 6 o’clock and also waited 40 minutes and nothing so I decided to get a taxi to get me to an open shop because usually here most of the shops open at 8
And it’s extremely over priced so big X

It clearly does not open at 5am, as many mentioned before. Was there at about 5:30
