Having enjoyed a walk from Burnham Overy Staithe to Burnham Market called in Burnham Market Stores and was not disappointed. Before entering the shop you need to pick up a hand basket which is neatly placed outside the door. There were around 8 or so baskets, this indicator gages how many customers are in the shop at any one time. Their max I seem to recall is 8, so if all baskets are gone then you will need to wait to enter. Once inside there really is everything you could possibly wish to purchase on offer. For me especially, finding they stock Ice Cream from The Lakenham Dairy was a bonus. It is offered in many flavours and is made with single cream, the Raspberry and Cream and Pistachio Ice Cream are particularly special. I have yet to try the other flavours but as the shop stocks this all year round am sure I will add more flavours to my list. Staff and premises very Covid aware and are very friendly. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a very pleasant shopping experience.

Great produce and very convenient

I pop in here quite often for one or 2 things and end up looking all over getting many.. very reasonably priced, with good offers on, great selection of products, a bit of everything in fact! super friendly staff .. card payments are accepted and somewhere that will do cashback if needed,which is super handy!! (minimum spend required) ..few spaces on road outside the front .. but a large car park in walking distance if you're to have a browse around the village as well.

This great little store, with friendly staff, is within walking distance of the rental cottage for this week. It meets our needs without driving and the range of products on sale is surprisingly wide. 12SEP2020.

Whilst stopping in Burnham Market for a few days holiday we called in here a couple of times. The staff were friendly and attentive, proper service like you use to get in days gone by.

Very cheap but great quality food. Lots of familiar brands being sold for prices lower than any supermarket. The staff are also very friendly and happy to help.
