Love home bargains. Wide range of products and food . Plenty of parking just outside the store. Prices are very good compared to many stores around.

I got lots of candle at affordable prices
Shower gel is also cheaper here.......i love the shop but i lost my BUDS inside and it so painful.

Great selection, great prices and very pleasant staff.

Great place to buy most things, gardening, presents, tbags, crisps or booze, they have it all 👍

Love this home bargains! A very big one with lots of bits and bats. Can go in just wanting a few things and come out with bags full. Staff are helpful and kind!

I went there recently they got decent Christmas decorations. The staff were filling the shelves its got good quality of cleaning range and toiletries also got good range of freezer selection of food etc. The checkouts seem to down quickly also there plenty of car parking outside and its not far from the other stores including the range and B&M and matalan

Home Bargains is always a complete discount supermarket, this place has a very big parking place close to the city center and with diverse shops to make a complete shopping day in only one place, this days start to have the party environment before Halloween and Christmas, plenty of disguises and toys.

I saw they had outdoor plants for sale but they sold out before I picked some up. I asked the manager when they would get them in stock and he said he wasn't sure but took my number and name down and said he would give me a call once they had them again! having worked in retail before I knew that little piece of paper would have gone missing in the huge store so I kept coming back every 4/5 days. I managed to get some yesterday eve before they were put out. Today, I just got a voicemail from the store saying they were back in stock! Honestly, AMAZING SERVICE! the store is always clean and the staff are always SUPERB! Keep it up guys

I've found the staff to be really helpful at Home Bargains. We recently ask for a foot stool to be keep to one side until we could get there, later in the day. This was no trouble for them. Good, friendly and efficient service.

Love home bargains i get all my shopping from there.

Thisnone has a very big food section which was great for me.

My girlfriend also got a colouring book from here and that is alwaya a bonus.

Anyway 5 stars nice staff.

Excellent shopping staff always helpful nothing too much trouble. Help carry things to the car as my husband is disabled.

My favourite store to get all the essentials and more. Always full stocked and well presented. No shop beats Home Bargains I looove it ❤

Good shop plenty of choice good prices my dog loves their sausages treats from here, good amount of disabled spots but sometimes feel cars drive past too fast/close specially when I'm getting my scooter in/out of boot as it takes a few minutes to do as I've to lift it in by a hoist

Busy retail park but all the best bargain stores are situated right here, so bring a deep pocket as those bargains simply can't get away! Big store with plenty of free parking and easy access, can get busy but there are plenty of spaces for cars.
Near to town centre if you fancy a 10 min walk or a coffee in the nearby supermarket.

Great shop.... First time been there. Surprisingly very good... quiet busy, everyone polite.... tills were very quick and very polite... I'll go again.

I called into Home Bargains (Wakefield) on Friday 24 January 2020 and had THE most amazing experience thanks to one extremely helpful lady.

As I was only picking up a couple of pink toilet rim blocks and some bird food and I didn't have a quiddy for a trolley, I did my usual; took a bag with me to put the items in, instead of picking up a basket, as I struggle to carry a basket.

A shop assistant saw me putting goods into my bag and offered to get me a basket. I thanked her but explained that I struggle to carry a basket and as I only needed a couple of things, it was much easier doing it this way.
The lady explained that she didn't want me to be embarrassed if staff were following me or to be embarrassed at the checkout, and then went swiftly away to explain to the checkout staff that I was using a bag instead of a basket as I can't manage to carry a basket.

When I had picked up the goods, I approached the checkouts to see three in use, all with queues. The wonderful shop assistant was there; she waved and shouted me over to an unmanned till which she was opening up just for me🤩 What fabulous service! The lady said; "Come over to me, I'll serve you. Don't you worry, I'll do it all for you and I'll pack your bag for you too, leave it to me".
Wow, even though I could almost feel the stares from the people in the rather large queues, I was over-the-moon to be having such fabulous service 💜
When the super helpful lady had scanned my things and had finished packing my bag, she said to me; "Can you manage to the car? Will you be ok"?

Calling to a shop to get just a couple of things is never easy when your arms are weak, your hands don't work properly and you use a walking stick, so I want to thank the amazing assistant who was so helpful and kind; unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but I really hope Home Bargains Wakefield can find her 💜
