Inviting and well organized wine shop with a wide variety of wines, (including a solid collection of orange/skin contact). Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Made picking out a gift bottle for a friend’s parents an absolute breeze - they even sold tasteful little gift bags!

Staff were friendly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me detailed descriptions of the wine which I appreciated. After focusing on cremant I asked for any sparkling recommendation and was given at Cava that was one of my favourite sparkling wines I’ve had this year, full of yeast and cream notes.

The staff here are really friendly and knowledgeable. It's an absolute haven of a store and great to take visitors to simple for the card wine tasting which is a nice way to start the evening and can introduce you to wines of all price ranges if you're looking to buy

Always excellent range of classic and quirky wines available; Turley Zinfandel, Shafer Chardonnay, Cazottes Mauzac and Tondonia Rioja Blanco to name just a few! Dethune Champagne was knockout! Safe covid practices, and always someone on hand to talk to for advice, really grateful to have this in our community!

The knowledge of the staff at Bottle Apostle never ceases to amaze me. Whether you're looking for a cheeky red, a full-bodied stout or an ale to support some light afternoon drinking the helpful people behind the counter will be able to point you in the right direction. Definitely helpful if your normal method for purchasing wine involves standing in the alcohol aisle at Tesco staring at bottle labels until you realise that you've been there for half an hour and grab the closest five-quid bottle before dashing to the checkout.
