Today was especially busy, but the staff were calm, polite and friendly. I love the broad selection of products available, from vine tomatoes to table top saws. Quality of chocolate and baking items are absolutely top notch. I love the place

As usual the variety of products available is good and the prices are very competitive. You also can't go wrong with their in store bakery items

It's cheap, and they do a variety of interesting special gourmet products from across Europe. Only problem is the specials don't last long and it's on to stock something else. But with the Lidl plus card giving you free items and further discounts, it's a no brainer to shop here for food and also household items.

My neighbour shop for almost everything for a day today life .. It's cheaper than most of the bigger shops. Almost all items in this shop are their own exclusive brand items . If you prefer a choice of different brands, then this shop is not suitable.

Nice little Lidl of which not visited for a while...nice and compact with good product range for one of the smaller stores. Ideal for a quick shop....

Ideal for quick shop, great produce, good prices

It's a store I don't frequently because it's not my default supermarket.

However, when I do shop there, I get very excited because I'm always pleasantly surprised with the wide range of items they stock.

I particularly enjoy their aisles with one-offs and fresh nuts stored in the big bins.

I find the ambience to be very relaxing too.

It's always a very enjoyable experience and their prices are very affordable too.

It's a supermarket I'll continue to enjoy visiting to change things up a bit whenever I get bored with my default supermarket.

Chelmsford branch is still good value store with helpful & friendly staff.

Worth getting the Lidl app for some really good rewards.

Always worth checking their middle section for non food items.

Plenty of parking spaces.

It's nice to see a supermarket making a collective effort on obtaining unusual world foods for me to enjoy.

A decent small store with fresh fruit and fresh bread. Parking spaces , a bit tight.

Not bad good products , just a little tad more options would be good. The prices are sometimes reasonable. For example Ice cream is extremely good price but ready cooked chicken is expensive for what you get. I do like the household items and odd clothing you get in there as its unique and may come across something really needed.

Love Lidl, always reasonable prices.. do have to look at veg+fruit not dated but stored well at home =ok 👍majority of their own brands are also very good 😊x

Prices are good and variety of goods are in stock. It is a one stop.

Went early morning and it was really nice and quite, staff very helpful

This store is no within easy reach of my home as I do not drive. But my friend kindly took me there as she had told me about some very reasonably priced wine that had been on offer. I wish I were nearer as the selection of goods was immense and at very competitive prices. I bought my wine and also picked up a very nice bargain blouse in a dark green which came up at £4.99. It was in the "middle isle" and was the only one left. I also picked up a can of can of condensed milk - not the well known brand - at almost 2/3ds of the price. If it does what says on the can why buy the same thing at a more expensive price? I also bbought some fresh blue berries which were a good price. I will, if someone is kind enough to drive me there, return for a big shop and stock up on some more bargains.

I don't see a reason why would I shop elsewhere. You can buy everything you need if you cook from scratch. Prices are always low and quality high. And the bakery section right by the entrance is way too tempting. There is only one competition- Aldi,but they loose due to lack of on site bakery.
Apart from food I find their clothing range very well made and good quality too.
