Lovely friendly staff not at all pushy very knowledgeable. Bit slow when refunding as we had to amend the order.

Customer service:
The staff here are extremely helpful and confidently knowledge about the producrs they have to offer. They was pushy sales people either and it was a experience to shop in.

Environment:
The showrooms are excellently laid out and the place is a little like a Warren so have a good wonder around first and try out some of the sofas. They also sell beds dining room tables and some accessories.

The site is covid safe and appropriately clean and and comfortable. Wheelchair friendly for people who have mobility difficulties as it's mainly ground level with some raised areas which are ramps rather than steps.

Quality:

The quality of products here are great and the price is for the best part reflective of the quality. However, there is a range of sofas so they can help with all budgets. There is some good bargains to be had here and would definitely use them again.

Summary:

Good customer service without pushy sales people but willing to help where they can. The showrooms are covid safe and clean but explore the whole showroom first as it is like a Warren. The products are a good quality and woth a range of pricing for all budgets.

The majority of our furniture is from DFS and we have always been happy with their products. The staff are always very helpful without being too pushy.

Huge furniture store, with masses of stock displayed and reasonable prices. Staff are curteous and willing to help in selection. Toilets are available but the gents was a bit iffy, although my wife used the disabled toilet and said it was nice. A huge carpark with disabled parking and good flat access for those in wheelchairs or mobility scooters

Great service as usual. Stephen Lee did a great job of looking after us.

Gone are the days where you used to feel pressured by the salespeople. Great service looking forward to to our delivery

Visited the shop at darley dale and was greeted by a lovely lady who just asked us to let her know if we needed any help which was a great start. The shop itself is huge with a great selection, very clean and also a canteen area with drinks machine and toilets which is a nice bonus when you are spending a long time anywhere. There were no questions or stalking from staff and no desperate sales pitches but they were visible should we need anything. I didn't order anything today as I just wanted to view and try out the different styles before ordering the right size and colour. A very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend visiting the store before you order online especially if you just want to look around without being harassed!

Wide choice and nice furniture.

Just went for a look around for various furniture quite a lot in stock.

Excellent service and loads to choose from. I knew In my head what I was looking for, had plenty to choose from. 0% finance over 4years only until 2nd March and then its 0% over 3 years. Excellent service from a young knowledgeable lady.

A decent sized store, very clean and well laid out (although I did get turned around a couple times!)

Staff are very helpful and seem honest, there are also toilets in store which is a huge bonus for me when we had been out all morning before popping in!

The only thing I wish places like DFS would make more apparent are the extra charges when ordering (both compulsory and optional) so you don’t think you’re getting a sofa for one price and then bam you’re actually paying several hundred more than you first thought!

Positive experience on 2 visits to look at sofas. Greeted on arrival and then left alone to look around. Staff were friendly and helpful when approached to answer questions. The only negative is felt pressured to buy the extras even though needed to aware of them.

A large store with loads of choice, we are very satisfied with the sales person and they do not bother you, so we could look around easily. We made 2 trips there and bought 2 settees and a chair. Would recommend it

We had been to a few places looking for the right sofa and DFS came up trumps.

Such a huge range on offer at amazing prices.

We had a look around with no pressure and there were staff located all around for when you needed them.

Once we found the sofa we were looking for a young lady named Harriet came over and asked if we needed assistance.

Happy to help we asked a few questions about the sofa we were looking at and she was able to tell us everything about it and told us what choices we had etc.

Very calm,patient and helpful no pressure and we were able to secure our sofa with ease.

Amazing service and amazing experience.

Brilliant sales experience. I have a disability and was tired after a long walk to get here. The salesman helped me find the sofa I was interested in and then was quite happy to let me sit on it for an hour with no hassle (he made me a coffee). When I was ready to ask questions he answered them perfectly and honestly. I felt under no pressure to buy whatsoever and felt very positive about shelling out my hard earned cash.

Update: just had the sofa delivered and it's perfect. The 2 guys who came were friendly and tidied up after themselves. After a bad experience with SCS once I feel confident I'll only buy from DFS in the future.

Update: 6 months later. Still very happy with the sofa. Easy to clean. I've even slept on the sofa bed element a few times and I've found it easy to set up and comfortable to sleep on.

Update: 1 year later. Sofa is still going strong. It's had a few spillages on it over the last year but it's easy to clean and you wouldn't know anything was wrong.

We went looking for a leather electric reclining sofa at dfs we eventually found one we liked called the Verona, with the help of Courtney he told us about the construction infact he answered every thing we wanted to know he guided us in a relaxed manor and was not a hard sell which we liked, he told us about the upgrades and a five year guarantee which we included, it was a very pleasurable time we had with no pressure at all, we made our order and can't wait for our new sofa, big thankyou to Courtney we had a great time and a laugh.

Only managed an hours viewing before DFS closed but we were able to view quite a few suites that we were interested in. Very helpful sales guy called Leon . Will go back as soon as possible for further viewing.Covid compliant . Recommend to all.
