Asda Pontyates Express Petrol

Perfectly friendly staff. Deserve more than 1 star ratings.

Bring back the Coop, high prices, poor selection. Thought it would be great having an Asda there but sadly not

Stock choice more limited than when Coop. Disappointed that Gourmet Perle boxed sachet cat food no longer available. Prices extremely expensive in comparison with other stores, inc previous owner. In short, no longer the "go to" local store. Rather travel further.

Today's problem is being Id for an energy drink, which I understand, however the age limit for this is 16, and they refused the sale of this. The problem is, they allowed an individual to pay for petrol which is the same age limit. If they believed this person was not old enough for an energy drink, then they were not old enough to buy petrol, yet they allowed them to pay for petrol. If your staff is going to be working in petrol stations, they need some basic sense. If you allow a customer to buy petrol then you can automatically accept them to buy and energy drink as the age restriction is the same, Regardless of the challenge 25.

If you refuse the sale of an energy drink you must also refuse the sale of petrol.

This used to be the village local, not anymore. Shop is not stocked well at all, very high prices, staff with no common sense. Shop has had a fair amount of time to set an impression but now the time is over and this petrol station has not redeemed itself over the previous Co-op in any way whatsoever. Shame I have to go all the way into town to get essentials.

Seem to be a shortage of bread and milk in this store only too often. Also bread selection is poor and overall stock selection could be better.

Awful been open since October 2023 never stocked don’t bother using it worse place ever supposed to benefit the community it doesn’t spoken to staff who say that when ordering what the store needs they send whatever they feel like shocking obviously aren’t interested in making sure the locals have what they need here agree that prices are ridiculous too!

Very expensive. Not the same prices as the larger stores.
