Tesco Extra

I visited the store on a wet Wednesday evening and was delighted to find so many happy smiling staff throughout the store.

I formed the opinion that the boss must be on holiday and went so far as to ask one of the supervisors if that was the case.

I needed help as I was shopping for a lady who was not with me one of the staff assisted in holding up a dress so I could take a picture of it. She even offered to model it for me if necessary.

As I say, it was a miserable wet Wednesday evening but I left the store with a spring in my step because of how well I was treated and received by some really first class retail professionals.

I only managed to get the names of two of the staff Lauren and Natalia who were themselves exemplary but there were many others who were a complete credit to the organisation.

That was most definitely a warm welcome in this particular Valley.

Stag are always helpful and friendly. Some prices are very competitive. Fruit and vegetables are fresh, well displayed and good value for money. Club Card is well worth getting for offers and extra discount.

We had a really positive experience here the other day, we were able to park easily and get up to the big Tesco floor with ease. We stopped for food in the cafe as it was around lunchtime. We were greeted by a lovely staff member who was smiling and just looked happy in general! I ordered a vegetarian option (halloumi burger) which was amazing and the whole meal for 3 of us only came to £20. We completed a shop and everything we needed was in stock too which is always a bonus!

It Is so nice and refreshing to visit a supermarket that actually has checkout operators, no queues. The other supermarkets need to look at what this Tesco Is doing, It's sad to visit other supermarkets and they have 2 members of staff on the shop floor, literally 1 on a checkout and 1 manning the self services and you have to queue or wait for the operator to verify your self scanned purchases. Well done to this store!!!

Great store, helpful staff, good range and manned tills until late evening. Covered car park (ignore the youths with tastelessly modified cars who congregate in the evenings like it's Santa Pod, they are harmless). One of the best 'Extra' stores on the M4 corridor between Bristol and Cardiff.

Large modern store with ground floor parking and a moving staircase up to shops and eating places including Tesco's. Just about everything sold in this large store.

Driving back to Bournemouth, decided to stop here for some bits and pieces. It's enormous!
Makes our Tesco Express look like a Local (lol).
Friendly staff, lots of product choices, tons of parking and both well laid out.

Plenty of space between the aisles. Lots of discounts for clubcard owners. Very friendly staff and a no quibble policy on refunds. Top shop 👍👍

Plenty of parking, wide variety of choice and always staffed well so rarely have to queue for more than a couple of minutes if at all. As well as the supermarket itself, there's an opticians, nail salon, sports store, cafe, Firestorm games, Greggs, subway, children's play area and more inside.

Massive store. Everything in store from needle to clothes. Water to alcoholic drinks. Frozen food to fresh food. Pet food and stationery. Almost everything you will want in your grocery and non grocery list. Price very competitive and product range available to fit all pocket types. Must visit for any family daily or weekly shopping.

Great place for the weekly shop. Only thing is it's like Silverstone there at night. Fair enough if you just parked up and socialized. But flying up and down there in your 1.0 Micra or your nans Daewoo matiz is no where near cool

This is a very large Tesco with loads of free parking underneath. Apart from the usual groceries and other goods they do a very nice selection of seasonal plants at extremely competitive prices.
There is a softplay, Tesco cafe and Gregg's on the same floor if the shopping gets too much for children.
The slanty escalator is a hit with the grandchildren.

We received our Dot Com delivery on time this morning, the drivers name was John, he informed me that our delivery might be a bit messy due to a milk spillage, this was right, I can't commend this driver to highly, he was so helpful, giving me a hand to carry my shopping into the kitchen and proceeded to help me unpack while I cleaned the shopping that had milk spilt over it! I'd just like to thank him!

Great place to shop for groceries fashion and tech you name it. Brilliant friendly staff always helpful.

Very busy big supermarket

Always plenty of parking.
Unless you're going on Sunday when everyone is panicking that the shops are shutting a smidge earlier, it's generally quite pleasant, and the shelves are well stocked.
