Phoenix dactylifera, commonly known as date or date palm,[2] is a flowering plant species in the palm family, Arecaceae, cultivated for its edible sweet fruit. Although its exact place of origin is uncertain because of long cultivation, it probably originated from the Fertile Crescent region straddling between Egypt and Mesopotamia.[3] The species is widely cultivated across Northern Africa, the Middle East, the Horn of Africa and South Asia, and is naturalized in many tropical and subtropical regions worldwide.[4][5][6] P. dactylifera is the type species of genus Phoenix, which contains 12–19 species of wild date palms, and is the major source of commercial production.[

Thank you to the brilliant Team at this store. I lost my air pod in the store on Tuesday eve. I rang the store and was answered by a polite and helpful Michael. Later in the day Michael called me back having found the air pod. My thanks to Joe the security guard for handing it in. To Leah kindly collecting it from the office and Sad who had the best smile. My husband who had also been In the store that morning said a helpful member of staff also helped him with his receipt after the machine had broken down knowing he needed it for work came and found him in the station.Thanks guys you made our day

Shop always has a great selection of food stuffs, things that break away from your typical lunch time choices from other stores. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful too.
