Scotmid Coop Leith Walk

Hello I have in my area three supermarkets and if I have to choose I choose to Scottmid, And I’m sure that all of you are wondering why?
It’s very simple because all the products like brands or white brand's they are not so expensive like people think is in the small supermarket if you buy in big premises obviously the time table is different and they have more variety also the prices they drop down but in particular Scott mate is the only one that opens as a express, Visit prices are the same it’s so nice to carry on 10 bags five in each hand and spent only £20 and half full of groceries and also I treat myself with a nice tiramisu with chocolate biscuits in a bit of ice cream for just only £3, I highly recommend to all these housewives single married it doesn’t matter Scott mate it was defined you,

It is best not to go into this place. You will go in for one item and end up being charged more money for random things you didn't even wish to purchase. I went into the store on the 15th August to purchase some heartburn tablets only to be charged £3.10 extra for some Ed Hardy item I never wanted. They are making money through shady antics and I will never enter the place again. I also advise others to do the same if you don't want to be ripped off!

What's happening in this store used to be good now the staff are terrible.

This shop is the worst in the coop chain ,manager constantly overpricing everything, service is slow and staff are not interested in serving customers. 3 times this week overcharged for goods, no apology or anything, prices on the shelves do not much what rings up at the till Avoid this shop at all costs. Trading standards need to visit this shop ASAP

Over priced not- very-convenient store, I must say. I went there to play a Lotto ticket, and even though there was no queues I needed to wait at the counter because all three employees were skyving and the Scott blonde lassie who supposed to be behind the counter was not there. Even though she saw me she didn't bother to look after her till until her colleague pointed out that a customer (me) was waiting to pay. Terrible and lazy service as she makes you feel that you're interrupting her chat... and on top of that she eyed- balled me... New, better and hard working employees are definitely needed in that branch...

I received the following service from a trainee in the shop today:

1) Chewing gum while she was talking to me (and other customers).
2) Literally throwing the item and receipt back to me after the transaction and said, 'here you go.'
3) No smile. No greeting. Not even 'hi', 'bye' or 'thank you'. After the transaction, she just said 'next'.

I tried to make a complaint on Scotmid website but I was told to 'try again later' after I clicked 'submit'. It is just a waste of time.
