It's too busy but cheaper than a lot of shops for this of the city, plenty public transport to get in and out but beware the bus stops are massive queues.

Normal Lidl supermarket, but... there was an employee that made a normal supermarket experience into a fun one: he was kind and polite and he would sing while organizing the things. He managed to get a smile from every client he helped. Bravo! (good voice by the way!)

Excellent superstore for shopping for daily needs. Great variety and service.

Great place to shop also staff friendly

When my friends and I were in the other day a staff member told us we were doing an amazing job and should be proud of ourselves, and to keep up the good work. It was very much appreciated and someone will have really needed to hear that, we hope he knows he’s doing an amazing job too!

The place can get quite hectic and there are no people to ask questions, but I like it. Found most stuff that I need there

Good local shop feel sorry for staff all the abuse they get the shop lifting is horrendous they must be loosing a fortune their security is no good

Just started going to Lidl because of the prices of shopping.
I’m pleasantly surprised that their food is good quality.
I prefer the Lidl on Easter road Edinburgh as it has such a great selection. Especially meat.
But my pop in store is at surgeons hall.
A bit of a hit or miss for selection.
Much better to my shopping bill.

Cheaper than other supermarkets

Layout was a bit strange compared to other Lidl stores but I suppose that's more to do with space and shop size. Not many noticeable gaps in stock. Store clean and tidy with very pleasant staff.

I was very gladly impressed today by the kindness of one of the staff members. Paul was incredibly kind to me when I was paying for my shopping and offered me a 5-pound discount for being a student. It made me really happy! He was also very helpful with the self-service machine as it sometimes can cause some problems when you're scanning the items, etc. I'm so grateful that there's still kind-hearted people left in the world that can make your day a little bit brighter! Thank you Paul!
