I love WH Smith, it's one of those shops I can count on for quality, which is getting harder to find.

The lady behind the counter in the Paignton store is so helpful and so lovely, and it makes all the difference.

She always greets me and other customers (even if I am only sneaking in to use the InPost lockers).

I really appreciate the shop and the excellent customer service.

I spoke to James on the phone today. To see if he had a copy of the Rupert Bear annual. Unfortunately he didn't have any in stock. He looked to see if any local branches had any remaining stock left. He managed to track a copy down for me. I am so chuffed. It saved a dissapointed little girl. Thanks James

About Paignton
Town in England

Paignton is a seaside town on the coast of Tor Bay in Devon, England. Together with Torquay and Brixham it forms the borough of Torbay which was created in 1968. The Torbay area is a holiday destination known as the English Riviera. Paignton has origins as a Celtic settlement and was first mentioned in 1086. It grew as a small fishing village and a new harbour was built in 1847. A railway line was opened to passengers in 1859 creating links to Torquay and London. As its population increased, it merged with the villages of Goodrington and Preston. Paignton is around 25 miles north east of Plymouth and 20 miles south of Exeter. source
