Tesco Extra

Really good store but also very impressed by staff. In check out a lad had handed over some £20 notes to pay but some of them had stuck together and he gave her too much. She had taken time to check then explained to the guy what had happened - even through language barrier - and showed him how not to make a mistake again just in case somebody kept the extra. Was very nice to watch. Tried to find an email to say to manager but couldn't find one so next best thing here and hope they see it.

favourite Tesco. This place usually has EVERYTHING, i get here every morning at opening time just before school, sometimes some areas aren’t very stocked, e.g meal deals, (when the meal deals are stocked THERES A HUGE SELECTION)donuts, confectionary isle. But the staff are almost always stocking them in the morning, i probably get here a little too early, car park is nice and spacious although i don’t own a car to park, be careful when walking through as pigeons with a stomach ache will target your head. The escalators are REALLY nice, I’m not too sure if there is already a word for them but they’re basically flat escalators this means you can bring your shopping cart/trolley.

A great store with a massive variety of food products and drinks, both soft and alcoholic. There is a reasonable selection of clothing items for various age groups. Also household goods are stocked. There are lots of tills so it shouldn't take long to checkout. A cafe and toilets ate available. A large car park is situated below the store.

This Tesco is huge! It has everything you can possibly think of in terms of grocery shopping.
When you walk in, you've got on the left various items going from celebration, cards, party items, stationary and more. Then you have a clothing section, with lots of offers on all the time. And then the rest is a huge grocery store, you can pretty much find anything you need, including those random last minute gifts for a party you had totally forgotten about. And it's open until pretty late, so it's very convenient for that too.

It's tesco, but bigger. Great place to go on a bank holiday if you want somewhere dry to practice skate boarding

Hands down best supermarket ever. I used to hate food shopping till I moved to Toxteth, now I just go there when I want cheering up. This isn't sarcasm. I genuinely love it there. Staff are the friendliest ever and there's so much room so it doesnt feel overwhelming or a chore. Nice one Tesco Toxteth.

Just had breakfast at the Tesco Cafe. Not somewhere I would normally head for when I want something to eat but have an hour to kill while my grandson does gymnastics at Steble St.
Lovely lady , tiny with Chestnut hair served me, didn't catch her name , think the the regulars will all know her. Fabulously friendly and efficient and very caring. Breakfast was great served hot with a perfect egg, couldn't fault it. The young lad working there also took a great deal of care over what he was doing be it friendly delivery of food and drink to cleaning the tables. 👍

Tesco extra is best for one place shop you will find all items. They have Aldi price match products as well and freshly baked breads are also available.

The Staff at the Pharmacy in store are Fantastic. Any problems - they will sort it out for you, and they're always friendly.

Always love shopping at this store especially of an evening when you can get some nice bargains. I managed to get 16 pork medallions for £1 on this particular visit. Staff are always super helpful and friendly and willing to go that extra mile for customers. The only thing that let's it down is the beggar that verbally abuses you for not having any change and the 1 jobsworth who doesn't let disabled people in during priority hour for the vulnerable people. I'd give the place 10 stars if I could. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great Tesco experience well organised and stocked mostly. Very big parking space with a car wash and electric charging spaces. Definitely would come back.

Called in early morning needing pastries. Fab bakery staff. Made what I needed to order in half the time promised. Thanks so much to Marcus Scott for being so helpful. Speeded my shop up. Great service with a smile. Love this tessys. All the staff are friendly and helpful to a fault!
Want to add to this that as well as the great bakery service, in particular Margi on the self service checkout was a joy to meet so early in the morning. I was having trouble with the tills and she cheerfully helped me umpteen times. Hope she is employee of the month!

I have severe issues in supermarkets - especially at checkouts. I am not fast at packing and I can often get confused.
Of the few times I have managed to shop alone, I have told the lovely cashiers and they have been ever so patient with me! One even offered to pack the bags for me!
Even though shopping is still a big stretch for me, this particular Tesco makes things a little bit easier.. Thank you

While I was shopping I found out a close member of my family died of Coronavirus and there was a lady who worked there that helped me and stayed with me for a while in those difficult moments. Even after a couple of weeks after, she saw me again, recognised me and asked me how was my family and how was I doing. Just wanted to say thank you.

The staff here are fabulous going above and beyond their duties. I am an over 70 and have been treated with nothing but respect also getting lots of help finding products. I can't thank them enough. They are all angels

Was out shopping yesterday for the clients we work for with autism and other problems. Most off these clients dont go out and relay on us to do there shopping. Are work done us out letters and we have ID .to show that we are shopping for a few people .I most say the staff and management in Tescos on park road were amazing very helpful. They looked at are ID and were great .The girl on the checkout was all so amazing she also had to see my ID . Thankyou all so much from all at Autism Initiative Alexandra house. yous are all very helpful. Great store x

Just visited for last minute food shopping and turkey. Got everything I needed. Delighted with availability of produce and friendly Christmas atmosphere. More importantly...no huge queues at the tills. Well done!
