Smyths Toys Superstores Mansfield

Me and my 5 year old daughter love this shop and often visit even if we don't particularly need to buy anything.
Smyths toys superstores have a massive selection of games, toys and activities that cater for big and little kids.
There is plenty to see and buy in this shop.

Very clean and well stocked toy store, our recent visit was great, a fantastic selection of toys and games including all the latest ones. Separate area for gaming consoles etc and a special desk to collect pre ordered items. Covid secure with sanitisation items available upon entry. Wheelchair friendly with parking spaces.

I've been using Smyth's for a few years now since my daughter was born. The store in Mansfield has a vast array of toys for children of all ages. Decent parking facilities at the retail park where the store is located. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, some can appear to be inconvenienced when approached. The store manager Wayne whilst an unorthodox character is a very professional and knowledgeable person who will assist if needed.

So i walked in to the new born section today and was greeted by Pele- i am abserlutely clueless when it comes to anything from push chairs to car seats, bottles to nappies, anything to do with a baby really....Pele walked me through the lot, helped me test the push chairs, told me advice, used examples from his own experience as a dad.
He guided us through out the purchase and after literally a hour and half of us badgering him he even offered to carry the boxes to the car .....i left calm with more knowledge then what the internet could provided me..... thank you Pele.

Went in to purchase a car seat for our first child. We were not sure about what to purchase or what specifications to look for, we were assisted by the nicest manager we could ask for (Mark the duty manager), we were given tonnes of advice, guidance including inspecting our car personally to find which car seat would fit, answered all our questions and even saved us money by the end. Could not ask for a better
experience, definitely deserves a promotion.

Popped in today to return a faulty item. I stood at the till and a manager came over to help. Couldn’t have asked for more. He was friendly, polite and helpful.
First class all the way.
Over the years I’ve shopped here I’ve had interactions with managers a few times and they’ve always been first class.
Whoever’s working today gets a double thumbs up!

I recently bought a car seat from here. I was getting completely overwhelmed by it all rear facing? Forward facing? Isofix or non isofix? We thought we would go somewhere where we could have a look and try out the different seats. We were immediately greeted by Mark, who was extremely helpful and guided us though the process, listening to our questions, concerns and requirements and offering opinions. I was able to put my baby in the seat to try out to ensure I was happy before buying. Thank you Mark you were very helpful and knowledgeable and I feel a lot better about my child's safety now

Brought some gifts for my children in October had an issue with one of the items in the 11 hour on December 24, "NO PROBLEM SIR" I was greeted with in store fixed all within 30 minutes or so! Outstanding customer service would highly recommend, in the future this shop will be my first stop!!!! 5/5....

Smyth's is Amazing. I'm a grown adult and I get really jealous of the toys made for kids these days. Smyth's has them all pretty much. Massive selection of toys for all ages, electronics and outdoors equipment too such as scooters, bikes and trampolines. The amount of board games at Smyth's is insane, I love Smyth's toys.

Love this store, always lovely and clean everywhere, very helpful staff, and a great range of toys and baby products. Needless to say my toddler loves it too, she looses her mind and doesn't know what to do first, we recently got a new baby gate from here and a set of play tunnels both great value.

We ordered a couple of toys for our son for Christmas, and we just turned up at 4.40 due to traffic, not knowing the store was closing at 4.30. One of staff was literally locking up as we arrived at the doors. Very apologetic, he told us the store is now closed and he cannot let anybody in. We told him we already paid for them and were only collecting and the opening times for their shop showed open until 8pm. Had we known we would have come earlier. He then spoke to his supervisor/manager who allowed us to collect the items. We just want to say thank you to all the staff for their customer service who went above and beyond. And we realise they didn’t have to do this but we really appreciate the fact that despite a simple error they will make a little boy happy this Christmas.

Children's paradise, adults' nightmare.....
if they forget their wallet. This place is a mecca for toys, and there's something for everyone. Even the adult child! From games consoles to water activity tables and sandpits. From outdoor slides to the tent teepee. There is a good baby selection of cots, car seats, well everything you need really for a newborn except clothing and baby food.
There are stacks of toys and even old-fashioned, styled upright archade games with pac man and space invaders! Anyway, go have a look, preferably without your children unless you've been saving up, haha

Smyths is a great and fun place to visit and shop. Its large, so plenty to look at it's prices are good and often comparable with online prices staff are pleasant and helpful

First visit.. Went with my grandaughter lily & her mum to get some stuff for Christmas.. There's some awesome stuff for all ages.. Had to queue to get in though.. Pity there's not a cafe & toilets in there.. Nice staff.. Would definitely visit again

I've been this morning and used the click and collect service. Brilliantly organised, efficient and friendly. First time we've been out In 7 weeks and I was so worried but you put me at ease thankyou so much and stay safe xx
