ALDI

Went to charge my car this morning and did some window shopping ( will be back when not working). Rob the Manager was very welcoming and accommodating . Staff too very friendly. Excellent offers and lines available and even got introduced to the Area Manager ! Could not fault the store in any way .

Recently moved to near Hanley. Even though its not my closest I go out of my way to visit this aldi. Friendly, clean, good range of stuff. Shelves always full. I wish people without kids wouldn't park in parent and child but what can you do.

I'm so happy to have a recently opened Aldi in our area. I popped in today for a few items, quite busy but I didn't have to wait long at the checkout.
My only issue is with the smaller sized trollies, the loop of the basket in the centre of the trolley near the handle, where I normally hang my shopping bag, stops short at the top of the trolley, the larger trollies extend up from the basket by a couple of inches forming a "peg" to hang your empty shopping bag on as you walk around. It's only a little thing, just aggravating and, as the loop is there, why didn't it extend like all the other, larger, trollies.
I feel that the layout of the parking spaces is better, it seems to accommodate today's bigger vehicles.
A good experience which I shall be regularly repeating, despite the trolley issue. Thank you Aldi.
Visited again today, lots of Halloween and Christmas stock on the shelves, I remembered the all butter, sloe gin, mince pies from last year and bought some, which we had for after dinner today, every bit as lovely as I remembered. Thank you.

Yesterday I shopped at Aldi in Biddulph, I bought £103.00 worth of excellent goods, unfortunately one of my items, a German peppered Salami had not sealed properly, which I took back today, the manager I spoke to exchanged it immediately and told me to tell the cashier that the exchange had been authorised by a manager, perfect, so pleased, I "bought" another pack and 4 lots of butter for my Christmas cakes.
Customer service was excellent as were customers who, once they noticed I had only 4 X butter in my shopping allowed me to "jump the queue' I was so happy that when another lady liked my shopping bag I gave it to her.

I visited Aldi again today and managed to spend an awful lot of money, however, there were bargains galore, I bought an excellent Italian red wine on offer down from £6.79 to £3.99 and a New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc down from £9.99 to £3.99 wow who would have thought that you could buy a decent bottle of wine at £3.99??? There were chutneys and curry sauces etc on special offers, all of which I bought, a most satisfactory shop today.
At the check out all of the serviced tills were closed, I was fearing the new self check out until a delightful assistant came to my rescue and helped me to put all of my shopping through the self check out till, thank you.

I generally only visit for top ups, can’t complain - has what I need.

They always have lots of fresh products.
Also it’s a lot more cheaper then other supermarkets.

First time in Biddulph branch, very big with so much to choose from of both brands and own labelled goods. Always something different. Tip for the store, can you stock smaller tins of baked beans, chopped tomatoes, and other veg, large tins too big for one person to eat. Not everyone has big family anymore when they have grown up and flown the nest.

Nice shop. Very friendly staff. 4 EV charging points (require Shell Recharge account) Often ICEd!

New store, nice and light. Everything where you'd expect with really good signage. It's set out in the same way as other stores in this chain.

I love the new store. It has polycarbonate doors on the coolers. Much safer and lighter to handle. Great space. Nice and bright. All the usual stuff.

Fantastic value products in all the aldi stores , I've shopped here for years & prefer than any other store .. Don't know how people can afford to go asda etc , they must be loaded lol

Good free car park and good value food which is nice.

Spacious, wide aisles, well-stocked, friendly staff, decent parking, local and good for the budget.
Flowers last for 3 to 4 weeks easily

Well thought out store with helpful staff providing an efficient service, inexpensive products, free parking, excellent selection of beverages, vegan products, frozen and fresh produce, flavoured water drinks, numerous checkouts, clean floors, wide aisles, automatic doors.
