Iceland Supermarket Harborne

I live in Harborne and I’m always popping into Iceland for bits and bobs and sometimes a big shop. The staff at Iceland Harborne are so amazing!! If you’re looking for something and can’t find it any of the staff are happy to look out the back or upstairs for it. They are all so polite and genuinely want to help any customer. I’m disabled after a brain infection during Covid and I struggle sometimes with my words or remembering things. Cassie is one ☝ if the nicest people I’ve ever met that worked in retail. Even if she’s having a busy day she always makes a sincere effort to ask how I am and if I need any assistance. She is so easy to talk to and always offers a shoulder to lean on if I’m down. And she always looks on the bright side of life…what a wonderful change from the staff in other retail stores who just don’t interact with customers. Iceland, Harborne should be very proud of all its employees, they do such an amazing job. Bravo 👏 👏👏.

If you look and choose your products carefully, it’s great and quite healthy.

Love it, great bargains especially the Steak 16oz rump for £5, it's better than the sirloin steak from M&S which is half the size and twice as much

Icelandic man. Like the country but compartmentalised in freezers.

Freezer 1 contained frozen chicken and bitterly cold gusts of wind.

Freezer 2 contained frozen volcanic ash

Freezer 3 contained red herrings

Freezer 4 contained Arctic rolls

Freezer 5 contained barren Arctic tundra

Freezer 6 contained only water and an annoyed polar bear. Apparently, 40 years ago freezer 6 was frozen solid and the size of a glacier.

I noticed there were no freezers containing vowels.

It's a wonderful place but take my advice, wear a wooly hat and strap a couple of tennis racquets to your shoes.

Good clean store with good customer service and nice prices. Good options for vegetarians and vegans too. Open till 8pm weekdays so I didnt need to hurry. Also the items were well priced so I knew how much I was spending as I chose my items. Lots of discounts on pizza and deserts. I was happy with the selection of fresh fruit and veg. Fantastic store good atmosphere. Thanks Iceland.

Great place for shopping. The prices are no longer as great as they used to be but rhey have loads of offers and many vegan and vegetarian products you can choose from.

I've been a regular customer at this place during my stay at Birmingham. They have a wide range of frozen food products and are of good quality. As an international student living in the city, I had found this place to be really convenient for buying basic groceries and long lasting food products. This place is quite pocket friendly for students.

Always easy to get around this store. Usually easy to find what your looking for and if not staff are always around. Staff on the checkouts are helpful and polite. I use this iceland store in Harborne as well as shop with Iceland online.. The shop online delivery is terrible. I have had many problems with items being defrosted or even off. When phoning the customer service sometimes they are so rude. One trying to accuse me of saying I am lying about defrosted items.!!

Cheap, local and best

I got everything I needed. Staff were very quick to react to the queue before it got any longer. Well done.

Iceland have hand sanitizer outside the shop with paper hand roll to wipe the shopping trolleys and shopping baskets . Every ile is well spaced out . They are acting very responsible for all PEAPLES Health and safety . I like to see shops following government guide lines . I would like to add . There is a restaurant selling take away food . Did not look that safe no keeping DISTANCES. Also the staff were not wearing masks who were selling meat and bread rolls uncovered. This is not good hygiene or keeping customers safe with social DISTANCES.

Shelves were organised and you can find product easily. Staff is helpful and friendly.

This Iceland has varieties of iced food with great value. The fresh meat cannot hold more than 2 days even it best before date isn't met.
