Have never used this store before so finding the items I needed wasn't going well. Asked a member of staff and he was happy to help and fetched the items I wanted to purchase. Really friendly and helpful. Same for checkout staff member, chatty and smiling. Happy to help, a refreshing change these days.

Visited this shop today with my 33 old son who suffers with autism and struggles with shop music earlier the cex shop was lovely and turned down music . Luke my son was anxious the shop staff noticed this and offered to lower music , we had finished our visit but the offer touched my heart

I'm glad this shop is still open - it's quite a novelty having a record shop actually selling records! Great selection of vinyl, and a huge rock and metal section. If I had a thousand pounds to spend on music, this is where I'd go, and I'd probably want to do the same again the following week...

Not a bad a good selection of cd's and a better /larger selection of country music cd's also staff was very helpful so thanks hmv

Not been in for a while, they're stocking much more vinyl these days, nice to see "younger" people looking through them.

Loved it, the staff were friendly and I found some cd's I was interested in buying.

I purchased an artic monkeys record and I have never had such a funny, bubbly and welcoming shop assistant!! He was absolutely brilliant it was the best customer service I've ever had in any store. Extra points for the amazing beard too!!

Got to say the guy who served us was a credit to HMV, friendly helpful and even engaged with our four year old happy chap think his name was Edd, great store with a large variety or different tastes of film and music on different formats and snacks also were cheaper than Asda which is bonus
