Went into this store in the evening while on holiday. The young assistant, was very polite and helpful. Great service.

I mostly do a smart shop using the nectar app on my phone to scan my shopping and Google pay. Good deals to be had doing it this way. However, if you buy alcohol you have to go to a checkout to get authorised via a QR code on the nectar app and ofter they have no scanner at the till which causes a hold up.

Good range for a local store, staff helpful and friendly and the shop is well presented. Using the scan and shop app they have makes it a really quick experience. Occasionally a wait for the checkout but usually it is quick.

Small shop, but still has a good selection of products. Lovely staff who are always happy to help and friendly.

It's okay - limited choice compared to a mains supermarket (as you would expect) but it's good for the main staples.

There used to be atleast 2 or 3 Sainsbury's staff at the store pre-pandemic who were cordial and pleasant at the tills. Now all you have are young-ish looking sainsbury employees who have long poker faces who either look like they are neuro-atypical, or they absolutely hate their jobs and would rather be anywhere but serving at the tills and doing basic housekeeping of a store. 2 stars instead of 1 for the sake of the previous employees who made the store feel part of the neighbourhood. Whatever happened to good customer care.
