The Co-operative Food

My mother comes in Alton co-op quite frequently. She really speaks highly of it. Saying the sandwich selection is lovely. And she loves your bakery goods, as she calls it. The ready meals are perfect for her, easy and tasty. She said the staff are helpful , helping her find the ice lollies. and she’s not good on the self checkout so it’s great having staff behind till. Definitely recommend

I go in here frequently as I work down the road and the staff are very friendly. You put the co-op in Wrecclesham to shame.

Very good, small convenience shop. Good choice of products, also for vegetarians. Their baked goods, such as Kalamata olives sourdough bread, are excellent! The same goes for pastries - always fresh, always good!

There are 3 self-service counters, which is convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure to do the shopping there!

There's also Evri printer where you can print a label yourself if you have a QR code (so for example Asos return is quick and easy).

This store is great. The staff are always super friendly, helpful and just fabulous overall. It's always clean. There is a one way system which customers can't go against which is great. It's always been quiet when we go in but in the event it was busier this would be great to ensure social distancing is adhered to. Love the new self serve check outs again they would be great for if you're in a rush and it's a little busier but my little girl likes to speak to the checkout staff because they're always lovely to her! A platinum standard co-op I just wish it was my local one!

Co-op products are first class and favourably priced good service and pleasant staff make the Alton branch an enjoyable visit.

Jane and the team are really friendly. They always have what I want available and in stock. Covid-19 process followed at all times. Overall a great high street store!

I love going here at 8.30 am most days. The staff are cheerful and polite and due to the current covid restrictions they have led the way. Than you for all you do.

The staff absolutely make this store what it is. Always friendly and helpful (they really seem to enjoy their job), it's open early till late, and the only thing stopping 5 stars is sometimes a bit of a lack of fruit/veg. Other than that I can't fault them!

It's a good little convenience supermarket. It does a limited range but it's clean if bit pricier than a superstore.

Staff always cheerful whenever I've been in. Don't usually buy much, use for parcel drop offs.
