Holland & Barrett - Handsworth

I been going to this branch on Soho road for a while now and I must say it's got everything and much more then I need plus every time i go there the 2 staff memobers Amiee and Andrea working there are So polite and very helpful and make you feel confident in finding what Your looking for the customer service is amazing. I highly recommend this branch.

Popped in a couple of weeks ago, The new singh serving at the counter had some of the best customer service skills i've seen in a while. He helped me pick up some glucosamine for my joints as well as vit d3 for my immune system. Much better than other colleagues at this branch.

Shame about the security guard as a pair of customers got very aggressive towards a colleague but the security guard was to busy talking and laughing on his phone with a friend the entire time and just watched on. First time I've seen a security guard on his phone having a conversation and also sitting down with a store full of customers. Hence the four and not five stars.

If i could give a 0 stars i would. my wife went with our baby in the store to collect a parcel and was struggling to get through the door with the pram and she could see that the h&b employee was looking at her whilst continuing her convo with her colleague.

when she was finally able to enter the store and went over to join the que she merely looked over to the employee standing next to her and instead of a " hi there can i help you with anything"? which is normally how you greet customers into the store, she was met with a "yeah?!" this response obviously annoyed my wife as it would with anyone because it was extremely rude, as if to say what do you want? my wife then said it would be helpful if you could have helped me with the door as you could see i was struggling" the employee in question: Jordan. replied- i didn't see you i was talking to my colleague. ( not true) she was standing right opposite the door when my wife was trying to get in. then my wife replied you did see and jordan kept saying its not my job to open the door its not my job to open the door and my wife replied i dont care because its about just basic human decency and manners to help someone in need if you can clearly see them struggling. jordan just kept going on and on about it not being her job but you know what im pretty sure h&b as a whole would want their employees to go above and beyond, to be courteous towards customers and be helpful. jordans attitude was disgusting, she walked off to the back room shouting and throwing a tantrum ,not very professional! the other colleague working there however did open the door for her on the way out , i think she felt bad.

i will also be @ h&b on social media about this and emailing their head office.
