Co-op Food - Coventry - Fairfax Street

This is a great new store, really handy for the University and it has a big range for a convenience store. Including Costa Coffee machine, hot food, food to go, fresh fruit and veg, in store bakery, vegan range and oriental range!

1. Wood Fired Quattro Formaggi Pizza 🍕 - Baked in a real wood-fired oven, this ultra-thin sourdough base is layered with rich, silky béchamel sauce, caramelised red onion chutney, creamy mozzarella, pecorino cheese, regato cheese, fior di latte pearls and caramelised red onions. Loved it so much because it has a white sauce base instead of the regular tomato sauce 👌🏻👌🏻 Packed with dairy goodness 🧀🥛

2. Beef Lasagne - Rich beef and tomato ragu
with egg pasta, béchamel sauce and mature Cheddar cheese. This was the complete opposite of the pizza. There was just too much tomato sauce and too little pasta sheets. The sauce to pasta ratio was not balanced 😩

Good store but doesn’t always have everything

Please clean the self service checkouts, they are gross.

I’ve just had the worst shopping experience! I’m writing this after just leaving because of how hurt I feel. Went in looking for a specific houmous which they didn’t have. I kindly asked the worker next to me. As soon as I said excuse me.. this white old cow rolled her eyes, sighed and said no before I could even show her what I was talking about. She’s lucky I don’t spin her crusty jaw

Completely unprofessional recruitment process. You’ll receive a phone call advising you were successful at interview, asking whether you can attend on-boarding 3 hours later. When the answer is no, you’re in another city but can attend the following morning - you receive a garbled response, have the phone hung up and then receive an email saying you’ve been unsuccessful. A lucky escape if this is how you treat prospective employees, Co-op!

Ordered from here on justeat yesterday, driver turned up with wrong bag, mine worth £30 this bag for a different customer worth £10. Had no refund, which is justeats problem mainly but more than dissapointed wondering how it even got to the point of being brought another customers bag. Just eat delivery was not helpful and had bad English.

Terrible customer service as when I asked where the forks are for the food to go pasta boxes she huffed and puffed and pointed towards them and then when I went to go ask for eggs she just blurted out before I could finish we don't have them what a Terrible experience won't be back here again

ordered items and got delivered something completely different. not even in the same group as what i ordered so i have no clue how they messed up that bad. called up to try and sort it out but they were no help

For store is 5 star . I give 1 star for the manager of that store . On 30.11.21 I vent shopping in that store and I wanted to pay with a gift card . The seller told me I had £ 0 credit on that card . I asked him if he was sure , he checked again and had same result . I paid for the products and I wanted to leave . He wanted to keep my gift card there because is 0£ credit on it and he has to keep there . I told him I didn't trust him , I took my gift card and I left the store . I check that gift card by phone and it was confirmed I had a £50 credit . I consider that the man in the store ( I found out later that he is the manager of the store ) is unprepared enough for the pisition he holds and behaved completely unprofessionally in this situation .
