Better On Vinyl Record Shop

A great little shop for vinyl collectors. The layout can be a little random, but this just makes it perfect for browsing and discovering albums that you'd forgotten about or weren't aware of. And if you're after something specific just ask. There are also a few pieces of hifi gear, some of which may take you back a bit! Recommended.

Fantastic record shop. Loads of interesting bits and hidden gems. Owner is great. I only had a sneaky 20mins away from the folks. Wish I’d had longer.

Owner was still very friendly and welcoming. Took advantage of his deals Bought 4 albums for £25 and 6 albums for £40 all look very good condition. Free local parking just around the corner from the shop.

Great place to visit. Staff are true music fans with a great knowledge and stories of gigs that they have been to. Some great turntables and audio equipment on show too. I loved the use of the ‘Never Say Die’ cover to encourage the wearing of masks during the COVID-19 period 😀🤟⚡🎸

Ordered a very hard to come by record by The Knife last week on monday and it arrived here in pristine condition a week later(The Netherlands). Chris handled a very fair price on the record and the communication and delivery went real quick and good. Would definitely order here again!

One of the best record shops I've been in! Went in for vinyl walked out with an amazing Phillips record player as well. The owner could not be more helpful if he tried, and very knowledgeable about all genres of music! One me and my other half will be returning to! Thank you for all your help.

I was looking on-line for a 1st pressing of Pink Floyd Obscured by Clouds. I came across it on Better on Vinyl. It was described as near mint. This was on a Thursday night and I bought it. It arrived the following Tuesday morning at 8.30. The record was in super condition. I will certainly continue buy from this store. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Having recently bought a new turntable and retrieved our old LPs from the 70s and 80s from the loft, we visited Better on Vinyl for the first time this month. Struck up a good relationship with the owner Chris immediately, who is so friendly and also very knowledgeable about his music. Great selection too. Bought a few albums.

On returning home and perusing the collection from the loft further we found that we already had one of the albums we had just bought. Returned the following week and exchanged it for two others - no hassle at all.
As we left we were trying to remember a rock band from our youth. Only got a few feet down the road when we remembered ‘Michael Schenker Group’, so returned to tell Chris. What did he have in his hand? A Michael Schenker Group disc. Fate or what? Will keep going back. 👍😀

Superb vinyl shop, with loads of retro turntables and sound systems for sale also. The owner Chris was most helpful and friendly on my recent first visit. An absolute must visit if you’re into music!

Took a trip down to Framlingham to visit Chris by appointment at the shop on a non open day. Great comms, huge amount of stock and a really nice guy to deal with.
