Select Convenience Hanley Bus Station

I have used this store on numerous occasions, however, they undoubtedly the most rude staff. They ignore you whilst talking among themselves or other bus station staff, when they finally decide to serve they do not speak to you let alone any please or thank you! I’m sure there are people more deserving of a job.

Overpriced shop. Staff look down at you like you are something they've trod in. Unacceptable

Hardly any stock in and the rudest, most miserable and ignorant staff I've ever seen!! That is my final trip to this store, I'd rather do without than be spoken to like that. All because I was rushing to get a bus, at a bus station, who'd have thought?!!

Costa machine needed filling, which apparently takes 10-15 minutes. Anyone who has worked in hospitality knows that's a joke. Found an alternative, waited in the queue just to be told the card machine is out of order, no signs anywhere, nothing. Just 2 staff that speak to customers like they don't even want to be at work and couldn't care less about anything. Shocking

I don't know why this store even bothers having a phone when no one EVER bothers to answer it. The post office appears to have NO set time for opening/closing, and depending on the member of staff working this varies. The lady on shift when I wanted to post something took one look towards the post office and said (and I quote) "No the post office is closed now, I'm not sending anymore parcels, you'll have to come back another day". Unsurprisingly when asking what hours the post office was open I recieved no consistent answer. Total waste of time and waste of journey. This diabolical customer service skills needs to be amended ASAP!

Says it opens at 8am on Sunday the lady and other bud drivers were in shop at half past 8 but refused to let us in and said it opens at 9 which needs changing on the times really

I had a very strange experience in this shop I purchased several different items including a medium costa coffee I took my coffee to the till where a tall man with short brown hair and glasses served me,he mentioned was it a medium coffee and I said yes and took the lid off to show that there was less than a medium, and he commented that this was strange so I said seeing that I'd payed for a medium coffee that's what I'd like so then he seemed to take a bit of an attitude and directed his female assistant to help me but she seemed to think that what I had was a medium coffee when it obviously wasent,I couldn't really be bothered to stand around in what wasent a very friendly shop,so I left and stood out side with all the smokers in their 1960s mentality,whilst I was waiting for my coach I noticed out of the corner of my eye this man from the shop looking all agitated smoking a cigarette looking over at me in an aggressive manner I almost thought he was going to come over to me and start some kind of altercation,what an idiot and what a god awful dump stoke is if I ever go there again it'll be a day too soon!

I love Costa and brought one from here which tasted very bad I took it back and the customer service was very poor and was very unhelpful I now have lost my money for Costa and got no coffee. Highly unrecommended

Bought a fanta today 14/09/2021 just checked the expiry date and it's 31/07/2021 paid full price too 🤮

Absolutely horrendous experience, DO NOT use this 'business'
