Budgens of Holt

Great range of local produce, lots of fresh bakery items (including Pret) it’s a massive modern store with wide aisles and plenty of choice! Can’t go wrong for choice here!

First time shopping here. Good selection of food and I found everything I was looking for. Staff very helpful and friendly. It was a quick visit so unable to say what else they had in store other than salad, bread and potatoes. They had a toilet which was a plus for me.

Very close to the town centre and you can park there and wander off. If you do as we did and shop in budgens on your return then the first hour of the parking fee is deducted from your bill.
A good selection of food and drink can be found, but I do think you pay extra as it's situated in Holt.
The isles are spacious and everywhere was clean and well presented.

Newly built, this thoroughly modern Supermarket hits the mark between a regional Booths and national Waitrose. Range choices are about quality with convenience. Inspiring departments with specialist options: artisan breads, refillery wall to name a couple. Staff - really helpful and a wonderful pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent for quality local produce.

On the pricey side for other goods, but if you factor in the cost of travelling outside of Holt to another supermarket, it's just about reasonable.

Well stocked with good quality food. Reimbursed parking fee for 1 hour shoppers - very smart.

My first visit to this Budgens since its reopening.
I absolutely loved the store before the fire, and this one is somehow even better!

Loved this supermarket. So clean and well stocked it was a pleasure to shop here on my holiday to Holt. Lovely supply of Norfolk produce. Especially liked the Norfolk pasties. My only regret is that I didn't buy more!!

Not your average Budgens! The selection of produce here was fantastic, almost felt more like a Waitrose or M&S for quality. Prices reflected that to some extent.
Clean and bright store with friendly staff. Plenty of self-serve checkouts and limited (both always one in operation when we visited) staffed checkouts.
Pay and Display car park on site, but you can claim back the cost at checkout with a voucher off your shopping total or the cash, so ultimately free if you shop there over the value of the parking fee.

Really nice selection of goods. Bread selection fantastic. Someone has selected good local produce too.

A fine example of what a supermarket looks like where the wealthy live. Gorgeous fresh produce. Refill dispensers. So spacious you'd have to measure the distance between checkouts in units of yards.

Store has been rebuilt after a fire. Modern, clean, well stocked. Post office inside..Large car park recently completed and free at the moment but may become fee paying. Right in the middle of Holt Town.

It's newly been refurbished & looks good. Has all your daily needs as well as fresh veg fruit & barbecue essentials, plenty of parking, and a post office if you need stamps 😆 self service area as well as normal checkout service, all you need from a local shop

New store. Has post-office on site and cashpoint out side the store. Well stocked with very good range of stock. Good beer and wine selection.

If I ever come into money I shall hotfoot it back to this lovely store. Yes, prices are high but quality is excellent and such a variety of goods. Hope someone enjoys the Meringue Clouds and the fruit and vegetables the asparagus looked very tasty.

Car park well organised in 3 columns. Automatic doors at the entrance a total plus. Excellent selection of flora along side diverse fruit and vegetable options, some of which is locally sourced.

Layout is logical with a coffee machine, model 3400/c by the looks of it, perfect for a quick pick me up before the cullenary exploration further. 4 more isles of everything you may want from a street market but in one handy place!

Further rows are organised into jams and preserves, cereals, tins, chilled meats and dairy, not to mention all health and beauty products including everything for you coital needs.

Finally, the breads on offer are just top notch!

And then, the checkout process, seamless - a scan and weighing system that is just like magic.

All in all a magical day out for families with children ages 3-8.

This lovely supermarket is one of the reasons why I enjoy coming to Holt for my holidays. The new shop is beautiful, very nicely laid out, the fresh produce sourced locally is first class and the staff welcoming and friendly.
