In a queue to see a cashier, not self service. A young man who told me in the course of our conversation that he is almost 30! he said a self service till was available, I said I don't like them! He said I will help you with it. He did the whole thing even down to giving change. He was really helpful, very personable and he said he had only worked there 5 weeks. He said he liked helping people and it showed. Excellent at his job sorry I did not get a name .

This store is similar to our stores known as Dollar tree & 99cents in California, USA Of course there has been a slight increase due to the economy. Since my arrival here in the UK, I have found this store very affordable. variety of selections in chocolate. People here are very friendly. I, enjoy hearing their accents!

I always loved this place and now it's had a refurb is even better than before

The young lady who served me was very kind and helpful and as of other visits was very pleasant I didn't get her name but know that she has been ill for some time and is struggling personally but is always pleasant and helpful.

Got everything I wanted. The staff were very efficient and helpful and the deals are life-saving.

A well-known store on most High Streets. The Cheltenham branch is good to visit and offers superb value for money on many items. The only drawback is paying at the till as the store usually has only one till open. Their introduction of automatic payment machines can make life difficult for certain people but, other than that, five stars from me.

With a wide selection of goods along with a section dedicated to Pep & Co clothing.

Poundland is no longer pound land but still fairly cheap, and the new lick of paint definitely helped the brand quite a lot.

100% reliable for many products including glasses and a fair few products that may surprise you ie stationery being one

They seem to be in the middle of changing displays around in the food section. I still found what I wanted quickly and used the self service till which is easy to use.

It has great quality products at a cheap price. The staff are well aware of costumers as well as the shop being easy to navigate!

I like to visit Poundland whenever I see or have time. Not sure that they offer quite the bargains expected as a few times I’ve noticed smaller size packs etc. This branch is always stocked well and always something for me to buy.
