Angling Direct

Went to store today to purchase a pole for margin fishing. We were served by Mark J who gave us his expert advice on what we needed to set up the pole, suggesting something more fitting / cost effective and even squeezed is a setup despite there being other stuff going on in store.
Really grateful for his expertise and for setting up that pole. Highly recommend this store, very knowledgeable staff, fair prices and a lot to choose from. Thank you

Amazing store they can't do to much to help you

Had a problem with an item of kit and perhaps unreasonably expected to have a battle with both the manufacturer and AD as the retailer. Couldn’t have been more mistaken. Both AD and the manufacturer assisted to resolve the matter in an entirely painless manner. A big thank you in particular to Matt, the Manger of AD Wilmslow for his help and assistance. Really helpful.

Very well stocked with everything you could possibly want. Staff very polite and helpful, the day I was in the shop there was a family new to fishing and a member of staff went out of their way to show them how to setup their fishing tackle. Highly recommended.

Lost a kids toy in this shop, whilst looking I lost my van keys. Staff were fantastic, helped me look everywhere, checked CCTV and where calm abd helpful....which I was not. Found them eventually. Thanks guys. Top team

I would highly recommend Angling Direct. We recieved fantastic service and advice from Mark Johnson and the team. We wanted to upgrade our beginners gear and Mark talked us through all the options and gave us load of tips. Really pleased with our new kit and can't recommend them highly enough.

Called into Angling Direct this afternoon in order to purchase some basic supplies as needed to get my 12 year old sons fishing hobby up and running. The member of staff (Mark) couldn’t have been any more helpful and talked myself and my son (both fishing novices, me more so) through the ‘staple’ equipment that we needed in order to embark on our first trip to the lake. Only advised us on the essentials and also guided us with equipment that was best suited for beginners. I suspect that we will be seeing quite a lot more of this establishment. Would absolutely recommend to my fellow beginners.

Me and my mrs went in to look for a small splicing needle. My Mrs went to the guys on the tills and asked for a recomendation. Mark not only went through the different needles with her but he also took time to give us both a demonstration of how to use the needle to splice the leader material. He was very patient with us and shown us how to do it. I am so grateful for Mark showing us this and recomending the best needle for the job. Great service from all the team in the store and they are always really helpful. Too many people complain about AD not having stock etc however in the past I have wanted an item and they didnt have it in the store, instead of telling me to just order it online, they got it delivered to the store the next day from another store so that I could actually check it out before parting with my money! Good shop for fishing gear and staff are very nice and helpful

I ordered some items online. Went to collect 3 hours later. They were waiting for me at the checkout. The shop is also well stocked considering the current situation. Very easy a quick shopping experience.

Absolutely brilliant fishing tackle shop. Staff really helpful. Phoned on Saturday and got my stuff delivered to there shop very fast so u could pick up. Prices are very good to. Nice one. Tight lines.

just a quick thank you to all the lads in the shop for the service I was given on Saturday , what a fantastic shop!!!!! . I have not been in for a few years since it was TREVS but I think may now be better stocked than the shop was in its heyday bought x 3 q-dos rods but they only had x2 in stock and said they would send the other rod out MONDAY and that I would receive the other rod in the post before weekend and its just arrived (Thursday). great shop ,fantastic selection for all pockets and a free brew thrown in , be back soon !!!!
