Wonderful shop. Always friendly and helpful. I wanted 12 lengths of 4x2 today. The wood was perfect and very reasonably priced. Efficient collection- was fully loaded and on my way in 5 minutes. 10/10 couldn’t be better.

A much appreciated local hardware and building supplier. These are good, knowledgeable, and respectful people who will build a working relationship with you and rise to meet your needs. Decorating, plumbing, and hardware supplies are available to both traders and DIYers, while the wood shop will supply and cut softwood and sheet materials to order. They've been the same reliable, efficient professionals for the 30 years my family has done business with them, and I'm especially grateful for their enthusiastic support of my smaller orders as an independent craftsman.

Always helpful and you buy what you need. If you want 15 size 8 3 inch screws and one xyz that is what you buy, not boxes or prepacked. If you want boxes they have them too. Useful timber service at back.
