Tea at 18

We were visiting the area and called in initially for a hot drink. After seeing the menu we decided to get a bite to eat and we’re glad we did.

The staff are polite, friendly and helpful, the tables are clean and the surroundings pleasant.

When we had finished we ordered some cake to takeaway which we had later in the evening and can confirm the deserts and cakes taste as good as they look

Popped in today for a snack. What a lovely little gem of a tearoom. Everything was top quality, freshly prepared, and friendly obliging staff, in pretty environment. So good we took a few cakes home!!!
I must go again and soon.

Lovely tea room, always yummy cakes and great scones. Friendly staff and warm inviting atmosphere. Brilliant to have a little gem like this in the village.

When booking the table for my mums birthday the lady on the phone was great, so full of knowledge about the place, made you feel comfortable and took care of everything.
When arrived felt really welcome, the afternoon tea was amazing all freshly made that day, sandwiches were great, scones were omg amazing and the cake out of this world. The staff were amazing with my newborn and I haven't felt so at home and comfortable anywhere like this place. Please go there

Cakes are out of this world, staff are amazing and always happy to make adjustments as I’m vegan. (Best ploughman’s in ages!)

Great tea room. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food is great and reasonably priced (a rare combination these days). It really is value for money. The cake is excellent. We will not hesitate to visit this tea room again and again. Thank you.

We stopped to take a break in our journey and popped in to this hidden gem. So welcoming and helpful. The cheese scones were excellent, as a retired cookery teacher I am very hard to please 🥴. Wish all staff continued success, will be back soon.

What a beautiful tea room! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the dogs came too with a special treat for them as well. We had a panini lunch with cake to follow....7 hours later, I'm still full.

What a great place. It really is a privilege to have a place like this in the area. Good range of food, drinks and friendly staff. Quirky and as cool as it seems. They also offer a fun selection of events throughout the year.

What a find ! Planned a local walk and found this lovely little tea room on the village high street. The people are very friendly and caring. They have the most amazing cakes and most of them are homemade by the owner. Would highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you 😊

Delicious homemade cakes and scones. Tea served in a proper tea pot and bone China cups and saucers. Perfect. Give them a try, we will certainly be back 😊👍

Such a find. Driving along the A47 and it was half a mile off the main road. Perfect stop and best hot choc and caramel shortbread ever! Really was worth the stop

There isn't much to do or see in Thorney. However, I always liked getting together with friends for a delicious cup of tea and cake at Tea at 18.
