Change round in side since last visit. Still great choice of goods, easier layout and I think another addition to staff. Well worth a look. Keep our local shops open and visit them regularly or we will lose these great little shops.

Great, has some nice little bargains that are definitely worth a pound, got a tempered glass screen protector for my daughter's iPhone SE the other day which was just fine. I buy all my cigarette papers and filters here, too, cheaper than everywhere else..

Every Saturday I take a long pilgrimage to go to Newark-on-trent's Pound land from my small cottage in Canterbury. I only travels by bicycle as I believe that makes getting to pound land so much more exciting, and once I am there I am on the verge of tears as I have finally made it to the best place in Britain. There is nothing that brings me more joy than looking at the dog section in pound land while not buying anything because it is about the experience and not necessarily the purchase.

Good for some bargains, should change its name as it sells somethings for more than a pound.

Queues can be long sometimes with lack of staff but can't beat the prices especially on blurays

What's not to like about this store, it is what it says, items a pound or two, good selection of everything, food, toiletries, stationery, gardening, sweets, cleaning product, candles, just about anything.
