Over the last few years, Big Bazaar has become my go to for Indian groceries and fresh produce. The mangoes during season are excellent, and this year they had a few different varieties beyond popular alphonso and kesar. The shelves are always well stocked, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I also appreciate their messages on Whats App with updates on what's new in store, when specific stock comes in etc, which is why I prefer to go there first.

Shopping for the last 1.5 years, always had a great experience. Never found stuff out of stock. The staff is very friendly, always smiling and helpful, and never had any issues with the owner as well. Great price and fresh groceries.

An impressive Indian shopping experience University side of Reading!! Went in to buy 3 spices came out with 20 delicious produce with some unique surprises from back home. The person at the till was very engaging and understood customer care seriously. Can't wait to visit again.

Feels like back in India again, I get everything and great customer service as well, just let them know what you are looking for and if they do not have it they will definitely get it. Very good experience, we had a prompt delivery with a diwali gift the night before Diwali. The owner was very helpful and delivered diwali sweets and fireworks to our house inspite of busy day at the shop. They were top quality and had everything on my list, even managed to swap the flour that was missed (driver came back to drop it!!). I would highly recommend the shop.
