Dec23- last.time.I visited I bought dance shoes. And it was called something else!
Glad to see it's still there and helped buy clothing - adult tights! Who knew white tights were SO difficult except in dance shops!

Incredibly helpful! Needed a Santa beard in a hurry, they had a great range AND made an alteration to the elastic without charging me. Plus my little girl got some free Love Hearts, she was delighted. Thanks!

I had been let down by a well known online only multi-product store and was in urgent need of a party mask the same day. I happened to be in St Albans, although I don't live there and having researched online I came across FunZone. I telephoned with low expectations but the sales assistant (on her first day in the job) was really helpful, going away to search for what I was after. I drove to the shop and she and her experienced male colleague were friendly and again, very helpful, taking time to show me different masks and explain the different designs.

This looks like a store where people can go to get fancy dress for children and adults but in fact they have a good selection of carnival (Venetian-style) masks hanging on display from the ceiling. I felt no pressure to buy and wasn't rushed into any decisions. I did buy a mask which I was very happy with and which received compliments. This place may be well known to locals but the staff and selection of products make it from my point of view a hidden gem.

Brilliant shop people are lovely and they have a great range of outfits and lots if other stuff including everything my daughter needs for ballet at good prices
We wantes a caveman outfit for my little boy school, they we're happy to spend time with us to ensure we brought just what we needed.

Best shop for Fancy Dress & Dance wear for miles around. I've visited this shop many times for school themed dress up days as well as some adult fancy dress parties. I've always got my daughter's Ballet & Tap clothes from here.
They have a really helpful attitude and nothing is too much trouble, I'd definitely recommend this shop.

Fantastic service from Dress Up and Dance during this lockdown. Sent an enquiry via email/voicemail this morning. Prompt reply received & following a telephone conversation this afternoon my daughters new leotard was delivered to my doorstep by 4pm. What a fantastic efficient service & one happy teenager ready for her online ballet class tomorrow. I thoroughly recommend Dress Up and Dance.

Love this place, every time that I go I always feel welcomed and the staff are always happy to spend the time to help me out. Much prefer to help out a small buisness and know what you are getting, other than buying online and getting stuff the wrong size or poor quality.

Nice little shop for fancy dress hire or costumes to buy wit accessories.
Vrry friendly staff with no pressure whatsoever in to buying.
They ask what you are looking for and give you many options and ideas as what you could do yourself or they can supply.

Great shop with a huge selection of fancy dress costumes and accessories to buy to suit all budgets and also costumes to Hire. Always a good stock of facepaint,professional make up and prosthetics with lovely staff to help with anything you need. Amazing selection of dancewear including leotards, dance accessories and shoes (ballet,jazz,tap & character) and a changing room to try stuff on. Great for events like Book Day, Halloween and everyday parties, this shop is excellent with a huge choice of fancy dress and dancewear.

Phoned them as they were meant to be closing and they stayed open for me so I could get a last minute costume that was needed urgently. They were incredibly friendly and made the following day of fancy dress 1000x better as it meant the whole group had a costume.
