really cute place with everything you could ever and never (in the nicest way possible) need!! we walked in and just wanted to buy everything!! the aesthetic of the place is gorgeous, and the owner is so friendly and a great conversationalist!! we bought some sweets, and stayed about 30 minutes chatting to him!! it was amazing!! will be back around the holiday season to see all the new updates happening around the shop, and to check out the holiday products!! sweets were sooo delish as well!! and we even got a free sample!!

Not long after moving back to the area I stumbled upon Ounce one afternoon and immediately received a warm greeting from the owner Mark.

I was delighted to discover a selection of natural eco conscious skin care ranges, one brand in particular I had previously been ordering online that I am now able to pop down the road to buy. Among the skin care you can find eco friendly pet supplies, beautifully scented candles, perfumes, soaps and a vast range of individually considered gifting and cards. Not to mention the food section, think of a Harrods pop up market tucked away at the back of the shop.

Ounce is now not only my go to for most of my skin care, and house hold refills, but also the first stop for any birthday or occasion cards and gifts.

My niece often delights in visits for the incredible selection of pick and mix sweets that very much mirrors the ethos and consideration throughout the rest of the store, natural flavours, local sourcing and quality ingredients. The chocolate buttons are also amazing!

More than anything though is the feeling of community that is so lacking in most high street stores, it isn't unusual to pop in and chat to other patrons with Mark, who is always on hand to offer advice or make suggestions.

I really enjoyed this store! I did not expect to find anything I liked in the town, but this gem has so many cool products.

There is Roly’s fudge, which is really great quality, anti inflammatory body washes, gorgeous candles, you will find something nice if you’re stopping by, even the sweet selection is some of the better variety!

The guy in the shop was really friendly and made the experience worth it as-well as informative, definitely come here if your driving by, Hope to come back soon!!!

One of my favourite boutiques in sussex! Mark the owner has a huge passion for sourcing and curating his range to the highest standards. He will find it if you can't! He taps into the hard-to-finds and helps you uncover some wonderful independent brands. Also the pic & mix is OUTSTANDING. The nicest tasting pick & mix I've ever had. The owner completely prides himself on the product he has to offer and is so personable. Highly recommend for gifting, pick & mix and anything you are looking for but can't quite seem to find? Just go talk to Mark!

I love this shop, and highly recommend a visit. The owner is charming and the selection of goods is remarkable. I make a point of popping in every month or so to treat myself to a few bits.

Popped in here on Saturday and what a fantastic little shop. I was specifically looking for Lamiri Harissa having read they were a stockist and whilst they were out of stock when I visited, the (I assume owner) was so friendly and helpful. Turned out this Harissa paste is such in demand that there is now a 2 month delay in getting stocks of it. They have so many beautiful, unique and quality products, I'd forgotten to bring my reading glasses so I couldn't have a proper look around but I did pick up some Eat The Bits Tonkotsu Japanese Chilli Ketchup, and wow, it's oddly divine and I highly recommend ! Thank you Ounce, I will be back. I live in Hastings so it's a bit off a drive but fortunately I have a friend who lives in Balcombe. I wish you every success x

Wow, first ever Google review but feel this shop totally deserves it. Lovely concept, lovely shop and amazing staff behind the till. I popped to lindfield for a day out as heard lots about it then stumbled on this shop, let's just say will be going back regularly now with my empty containers. Great prices and products, keep up the good work and look forward to returning

So pleased we have this fantastic shop in Lindfield. I've visited at least once a week since it opened. Prices are competitive with supermarkets and many products are organic. I take my own containers and friendly staff fill them. They also offer containers for sale or paper bags. We all need to start shopping like this. #plasticfree

What a brilliant shop! Popped in for the first time today and met Mark whose enthusiasm for the concept is completely contagious! Will be returning for refills of all sorts of food and home stuff.
