You have to love this shop and I bet you can't just spend a pound in it,there are just to many bargains to be had,the staff are very friendly and its made it so much easier with the self serve check out,yep I love this shop.. update now due to cost of living not much for a pound anymore things a got from there 6 months ago have doubled in price unfortunately 🤷🏽‍♀

A smaller Poundland store than some but still a great shop to pop into for snacks, cleaning supplies and so on. The Stockport store has only a limited selection of clothing from their brand Pep & Co, mostly socks and smaller sizes of underwear. For the full range go to the Ashton under Lyne Poundland.

Called in for bottle lights good value at 2 for £1.

As always great place for the kids to go to get supplies to keep them quiet, don't normally leave reviews for retailers but ste on the till was especially helpful, happy and willing, well done ste.

Not everything 1£ but still the prices are good

After a mad dash around town, it was this store that had exactly what I needed. Staff were great & directed me to exactly what I wanted & were on hand instantly at checkout. Faultless experience today.

The staff here is lovely. There is a sweet man at the self check out who always offers bags & help. Unfortunately the past few weeks out of 4 self check out tills, one was cash only and today only 3 were working. At 5.45pm during Christmas rush and NO normal tills it was awkward and rushy. The self check outs are also a bit small so packing is awkward. Packing is worse because you can't pack as you go, everything has to be put on the 36 inch square counter and left until payment or else the Elvis impersonator voice of the til screams for help. Wait, they changed the voice to Santa for December so Santa yells for help. Great stock, good choice and always tidy & clean.

Large store, plenty of items from all sections, you can usually find what your looking for, or at least a cheap suitable alternative. I've never had to return anything so don't know how they are on returns but don't see any issues.

There is no parking specifically for this store but look around Asda and Sainsbury's area and you'll be in the right area. It's located at the bottom of the hill where the old court house was, right by sports direct and Asda.

Well stocked with lots of bargains in s convenient spot near the bus stop and taxi rank. Always werth a stop by
